5 INDOOR FOOTWEAR COLLECTION AUTUMN/ WINTER 2014 hummel s new Indoor Footwear collection combines high performance materials with robust and stabilizing construction to minimize the risk of injuries when the best players all over the world move in the most unexpected ways. With performance enhancing features and new graphics and colours to match, the eye-catching Autumn/Winter 2014 collection aims to support the warriors of the indoor arenas in their relentless quest for victory. This season the hummel design team is re-thinking the concept of Danishness and has drawn inspiration from the Viking era in both the visual and technical design. Patterns and graphic design take a note from old-fashioned body armour, runic letters and symbols but still true to the hummel universe. The colour palette is diverse with both strong, bold colours like neon yellow, bright pink, reds and greens as well as more subdued tones like bordeaux, dark and dusty blue, greys and black. From a technical point of view, the performance of the shoes is enhanced for extra strength, support and stability with visible triple and bar stitching. Selected styles have a unique outward cage construction to secure the stability and safety of for example defensive handball players. Especially the pivots and wings who often make many lateral moves through out the whole game are protected against injuries. In addition all shoes still come with the unique hummel zone system which further optimize the achievements of sports men and women: Pivot zone enhances the ability to pivot more freely. Fit zone keeps the foot in place preventing heel lift. Impact zone is a shock-absorbing material that provides greater protection of joints. Stability zone enhances lateral stability with a strengthened outsole area. Guard zone features an extra durable rubber print on the toe box. Flex zone allows the show to flex naturally in the forefoot. Whether a warrior on the offence, a fast paste strategist or an outstanding game-saver, the Indoor Footwear Autumn/Winter collection from hummel is sure to support you in all the games of your life.
