3 Van Tri Golf Club February 14: Hanoi, Vietnam Plan to arrive in Hanoi, Vietnam on February 14. You will be greeted at the airport and transferred to the centrally-located, French colonial Sofitel Legend Metropole Hotel, where we stay for three nights. This evening, we gather for a welcome reception. February 15: Hanoi Golf: Van Tri Golf Club Our first round of golf is at the most exclusive private club in Vietnam. Van Tri was laid out with visually appealing holes that offer surprises at every turn. Stone, vibrant colors, trees and grasses shape a delightfully challenging course. Van Tri Golf Club provides a fitting start to our golf line up. Tour: Vietnam Culinary Experience Touring guests explore Hanoi s renowned food culture, as our guide takes us off the beaten path to discover a diverse sampling of authentic Vietnamese fare. We savor both the traditional and exotic, while our hosts relate stories of the cultural significance and history of ingredients and preparations. February 16: Hanoi Today, we explore Hanoi, a city of contrasts, from its colonial French architecture to Vietnamese pagodas, tranquil green parks to lively streets. Our tour takes us to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and the rustic home where he lived his final years. We visit the unique One Pillar Pagoda, dating from 1049 and the Temple of Literature, dedicated to Confucious. We also stop at the Hoa Lo Prison, known by its American inmates as the Hanoi Hilton. February 17: Hanoi Embark Crystal Symphony Golf: Chi Linh Star Golf & Country Club Situated in a fertile valley, the holes at Chi Linh Star play around a large central lake surrounded by low hills; a manicured oasis bounded by knolls and jungle. Water, various elevations and directional bunkering affect club choice and scheme off the tee, while strategic traps and multi-tiered greens challenge many approaches. Our caddies will add to the enjoyment of the round. This afternoon, we board Crystal Symphony in Halong Bay. Tour: Hanoi Old Quarter Touring guests are treated to a fascinating trip through 36 Streets District, the city s main shopping area. Goods were once traded here under the street name of a guild, and the themes remain the same, such as Sugar Street and Paper Street. We enjoy lunch in the nearby Hoan Kiem district before embarking Crystal Symphony this afternoon.

4 Ba Na Hills Golf Club February 18: Halong Bay, Vietnam We cruise through breathtaking Halong Bay today, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Famous for its spectacular scenery, grottoes, limestone rock faces and caves, our onboard lecturers discuss the mythology and natural history of this beautiful and fascinating coastline. February 19: Danang, Vietnam Golf: Danang Golf Club The championship Dunes course at Danang Golf Resort, designed by Greg Norman, annually tops the course rankings in Vietnam. The natural terrain and sand dunes are reminiscent of many Scottish courses, and the signature 16 th hole is nestled into the dunes overlooking China Beach. Tour: Hoi An and Red Bridge Cooking School In the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town of Hoi An, merchants from around the world have met for centuries and a multi-cultural influence is apparent throughout this ancient community. Our walking tour includes a visit to the covered Japanese bridge, the centuries-old Tan Ky House and the wonderfully ornate Chinese Assembly Halls. After touring Hoi An, chefs from Red Bridge Restaurant guide our group through the market, helping to select fresh ingredients, which we will use in a hands-on Vietnamese cooking class. Our tour includes a delicious lunch at this beautiful waterfront location. February 20: Danang Golf: Ba Na Hills Golf Club In the hills outside of Danang, this Luke Donald designed gem, opened in 2016, has quickly earned a reputation as a must play. The conditioning is superb throughout these two distinct nines. A parkland, relatively flat front nine leads to more elevation change on the rollicking back side. Ba Na Hills is an ideal conclusion to our golf in Danang. Tour: Country Bicycle Tour & Museum of Cham Sculpture We enjoy a leisurely bicycle tour through the village of Cam Thanh and its neighboring rice fields to see Vietnam s rural culture in action. A visit to a local elementary school provides an interactive glimpse of everyday life in Vietnam. An afternoon tour of the Danang Museum of Cham Sculpture, treats us to the most comprehensive collection of Cham art in the world.

5 February 21: Day at Sea Delight in a full day at sea as we cruise along the central coast of Vietnam. Relax on the deck or take advantage of the fitness room and wonderful spa. February 22: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam Ho Chi Minh City Hall Golf: Song Be Golf Resort One of the most established courses in Ho Chi Minh, Song Be features ten lakes that come into play on almost half the holes. Opened in 1994, the course has mature growth throughout, and its benign parkland layout should lend itself to great scoring opportunities. Tour: Ho Chi Minh City The former Saigon is a bustling city with a booming free market economy. Our tour begins in central Ho Chi Minh at the Notre Dame Cathedral and Post Office, before exploring the energetic Ben Thanh Market. We enjoy lunch and conclude our day with a tour of Reunification Palace, where the Vietnam War ended in February 23: Ho Chi Minh City Golf: Vietnam Golf & Country Club Lee Trevino designed this parkland layout on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City. Aside from a few holes around the clubhouse, the course is surrounded by forest, crafting a unique experience within the city. Generous fairways and relatively flat terrain offer fresh confidence on each hole. While riskier lines exist throughout, and rewards may warrant the shot on a couple of the par fives, large and undulating greens place a premium on the center of the fairway. Tour: Artist Village There may be no better way to understand a culture than through art, which narrates mythology and history alike. We visit a village on the banks of the Saigon River, where artists have communed peacefully for over a decade in like-minded purpose: to create art in an intellectually supportive setting. Walking the village and over tea with the artists, we survey varying art forms from sculpture to canvas, showcasing styles ranging from the Mekong Delta to Hue and Hoi An.

6 Santiburi Samui Country Club February 24: Ho Chi Minh City We venture outside of Ho Chi Minh City to tour the Cu Chi Tunnels, a vast underground network used by Vietnamese guerillas. Guests are astonished by the intricacy of the tunnels, which include living areas, kitchens and triage rooms. February 25: Day at Sea A day at sea offers a welcome day to recharge and explore the many fine amenities on board our luxury vessel, from the outdoor pool areas to a game of bridge to the casino and theater. February 26: Koh Samui, Thailand Golf: Santiburi Samui Country Club A regular stop on the PGA Asia Tour, Santiburi Samui undulates through the hills just a few miles from the coast. Making full use of the plunging topography, elevated tees give way to lush fairways and greens surrounded by a canopy of coconut palms. From the highest elevations, the views to the sea and nearby islands are spectacular. Santiburi is a wonderful ambassador of Thai golf. Tour: Experience Koh Samui Touring guests choose from multiple offerings including: a Koh Samui overview tour, Thai cooking experience, snorkeling at Koh Pha Ngan Island or a Jeep safari adventure to see some of the region s most interesting residents: elephants and monkeys. 7 February 27: Sihanoukville Disembark Crystal Symphony Siem Reap, Cambodia We disembark Crystal Symphony in Sihanoukville, Cambodia and fly to Siem Reap, where we stay in the elegant Raffles Grand Hôtel d Angkor for the remainder of our journey. February 28: Siem Reap, Cambodia Angkor Golf Resort Golf: Angkor Golf Resort Angkor Golf Resort is the finest golf course in Cambodia, a magnificent layout designed by Nick Faldo. Faldo offers generous fairways with bold bunkering, and the greens subtle undulations require thoughtful approach shots. Tour: Banteay Srei & Cambodia Culture Considered by some to be the most beautiful temple due to its elaborate pink sandstone carvings, Banteay Srei is an interesting contrast in style from the structures of the main Angkor complex. Our tour concludes with a traditional Cambodian lunch in a local home. February 29: Siem Reap Not to be missed, our entire group tours the awe-inspiring Angkor complex, ancient capital of Cambodia and one of the must-see sights in the world. Built in the early 12 th century in the classical Khmer architectural style, the Angkor Wat temple is the largest of its kind in the world, with a volume of stone equal to that of the Great Pyramid in Egypt. 8 Bangkok, Thailand BANGKOK EXTENSION TOUR March 1 3, 2020 Fly to Bangkok from Siem Reap and transfer to the five-star Mandarin Oriental Hotel, centrally located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. We enjoy a canal boat tour of the Grand Palace, Thailand s most sacred site and home to the Emerald Buddha Temple. Afterwards, we visit the Royal Barge Museum, home to the intricate and beautiful barges used in state ceremonies. Golf is at the exclusive Thai Country Club, eight-time winner of the best course in Thailand and host to many Asian Tour events. Touring guests visit the Jim Thompson House, home of the Legendary American of Thailand known for saving Thailand s silk industry from extinction. In 1967, Jim Thompson traveled to the Cameron Highlands in Malaysia, where he set out for a walk in the surrounding jungle but never returned. Thus began the Jim Thompson legend. Since his disappearance in 1967, little has changed in the home; even today, the charming Thai style house continues to be a key stop for visitors to Bangkok.
