1 VIVRTI 2k18 TECHNOKRITI TECHNICAL COMMITTEE RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. LAN GAMING 1.1. Counter strike 1.6 Highlights 1. Team Size: 5 vs. 5 (Team Play, 5 players per team) 2. Round Time: 1 minute 45 seconds. 3. Knock Out Series. 4. Team has to follow the rules and maintain team spirits. General Rules for CS 1.6: 1. The team playing as the Terrorist side first will be announced before the match or decided by knife round. 2.. Official Maps: De_Dust2, De_Inferno, Awp_India, Awp_51a, Awp_dust. 3. Approved Grenade Amounts Per Round a) Flashbangs: 2 b) Grenades: 1 c) Smoke Grenades: 1 4. Shotguns, Shields, Automatic Sniper are not allowed. 5. Any player or team caught breaking a rule or performing an infraction will be subject to disqualification. 6. Players can bring their peripherals such as mouse, headphones, keyboards etc. but mouse pad will not be provided by us. 7. The first round will be the knockout round; the loosing team will be disqualified. Round 1: 13 Rounds (Max rounds format): 6 rounds as Terrorists and 6 rounds as Counter-Terrorists per team

2 (If a team scores 7 rounds first, the match is ended immediately.) Victory Condition: The team who win 7 rounds soon will be qualified to next round. Losing team will be disqualified from the tournament. Only the 6 best teams will get the chance to play in the semifinal. *If there are odd teams then the last match will be played between the left team and the disqualified team that perform better than all the teams. Round 2 (semi final round): 20 Rounds (Max rounds format): 10 rounds as Terrorists and 10 rounds as Counter-Terrorists per team (If a team scores 12 rounds first, the match is ended immediately.) Victory Condition: The team able to win the 12 rounds first will be promoted to the final round. The losing team will be out from the tournament. Round 3(final round): 27 Rounds (Max rounds format): 13 rounds as Terrorists and 13 rounds as Counter-Terrorists per team (If a team scores 14 rounds first, the match is ended immediately.) Victory Condition: The first team to win 14 rounds will be announced the winner NFS MOST WANTED: GENERAL RULES 1. There will be 4 rounds. 2. There will be 4 players in each team.

3 3. No Cheats will be tolerated. 4. Players can bring their peripherals such as mouse, headphones, keyboards, mouse pad etc. 5.. Event team reserves the right to change any rules as per the situation and if so then that will be intimated to the players on the spot. 6. All the players will be provided the option to choose one of the 4 cars for all the rounds. 7. Change of car is not allowed once the game is started. Round1 Round2 Race Type: Knockout Total laps allowed = 3 All the players will be provided the option to choose one of the 4 cars. Time Size =4. The winning players will be selected for the next round. Only 1 player from each team will be qualified to the next round. Race Type: Sprint {Short} Total laps allowed = 3 The players are only allowed to play with the selected cars. Time Size =3 (one from each team) Only 6 players will be selected for the semifinal. Round 3(semifinal) Race Type: Speed Capture Only 3 players out of 6 will be selected. Judgments will be according to the speed, speed and position. Round 4(final) Race type: Sprint (long)

4 Total laps allowed = 3 All the finalists will compete with each other in long sprint race. Only the winner will get prize. 2. TECH QUIZ There are the following rounds First Round- (Questionnaire Round) questions. One question for each time. 1 point for each correct question, no negative marking. Second Round- (Buzzer Round) buzzers. 2 points for each answer. Third Round- (Picture Round) Show pictures, get answer. 5 points for correct answer,-2 will be wrong answer. Fourth Round- (Media Round) Sound clips, get answer. 5 points for correct answer,-2 will be wrong answer. Fifth Round- (Rapid Fire) 10 question,1 point for each questions. No negative marking. 20 seconds maximum time for per team.

5 Extra Round/Tie Breaker(if needed) 5 questions each team No negative marking Elimination Round Minimum questions in quiz BRAINSTORMINGS INSTRUCTIONS FOR BRAINSTORMINGS 1) There will be three rounds 2) Round one will contains 20 questions, 15 min (elimination round) 3) Round two will contains 10 questions, 10 min (innovative session) 4) Verbal questions,5 min (5 random questions) 5) Winners will be decided according to all three rounds 6) Students required to bring one black ball pen Requirements for events: 1) Blank A4 size papers 2) 4 different colors marker 3) One projector 2. CIRCUITRIX If electronics lives in you, then ARAVALI is inviting you to unleash your potentials in wire your ways battle ground. Put down your brain to design and implement circuits which are simple & effective in the real world with the limitations of having simple components in hand & complete with finest brains of the nation. Event will be conducted in three stages Stage 1: Written test The participants have to answer 15 questions in 15 minutes. The questions are based on simple electronics concepts & general awareness.

6 This round contains objective type & problem solving questions. On clearing this round participants can step on to next round. Stage 2: Identification & Implementation of circuits Each team will be given with few components to identify within a given time. Circuits will be given in descriptive form which is to be implemented on bread board within a given time. On clearing this round participants can step on to next round. Stage 3: Troubleshooting In this round electrical circuits with some mismatch/flaws will be provided to teams. Teams will be given 2 mins per circuit. Teams will be expected to analyze the circuit/connections and write the error they found and justify the answer. Points will be awarded to the team based on justification to the problem. Rules & Regulation Each team consists of maximum of 2 members. This event is only for electrical and electronics branch. Participants will be provided with necessary components. The winners of this event are decided on the performance in three rounds. Participants disobeying the instructions given will be disqualified and judge s decision will be final in all disciplines. Based on the student s registrations the rules may have a small changes. 3. MEGA STRUCTURE You will be provided with bricks and cement. Plan for a sitting bench. Bring your own wall paints and brush. Mason tools will be provided. Maximum 5 group with 6-7 participants.
