Minors who have a valid temporary license may operate the above described motorized vehicles as long as they are accompanied by an adult with a valid driver's license. The parent(s), legal guardian(s), or individual who signs the entry blank as a parent or guardian of a minor operating a motorized vehicle in violation of this rule are solely responsible for any damages, claims, losses or actions resulting from that operation. Violations of this rule will be cause for sanctions against the parent(s), guardian(s) and/or trainer(s) who are responsible for the child committing the offense. Penalties may include exclusion of the child, parent(s), guardian(s), and/or trainer(s) from the competition grounds for the remainder of the competition and charges being filed against any of the above individuals in accordance with Chapter 6. Wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices for individuals with disabilities are exempt from this rule. Federation Entry Agreement By entering a Federation-licensed Competition and signing this entry blank as the Owner, Lessee, Trainer, Manager, Agent, Coach, Driver, Rider, Handler, Vaulter or Longeur and on behalf of myself and my principals, representatives, employees and agents, I agree that I am subject to the Bylaws and Rules of The United States Equestrian Federation, Inc. (the Federation ) and the local rules of Winner s Circle Horse Shows, Inc. and/or Hunter s Isle Horse Shows, Inc. (Competition). I agree to be bound by the Bylaws and Rules of the Federation and of the competition. I will accept as final the decision of the Hearing Committee on any question arising under the Rules, and agree to release and hold harmless the competition, the Federation, their officials, directors and employees for any action taken under the Rules. I represent that I am eligible to enter and/or participate under the Rules, and every horse I am entering is eligible as entered. I also agree that as a condition of and in consideration of acceptance of entry, the Federation and/or the Competition may use or assign photographs, videos, audios, cable - casts, broadcasts, internet, film, new media or other likenesses of me and my horse taken during the course of the competition for the promotion, coverage or benefit of the competition, sport, or the Federation. Those likenesses shall not be used to advertise a product and they may not be used in such a way as to jeopardize amateur status. I hereby expressly and irrevocably waive and release any rights in connection with such use, including any claim to compensation, invasion of privacy, right of publicity, or to misappropriation. The construction and application of Federation rules are governed by the laws of the State of New York, and any action instituted against the Federation must be filed in New York State. See GR908.4.

5 2018 GRAND CHAMPIONSHIPS Grand Championships will be awarded November 18th **** Awards will be presented to the Top 6 Places in each division*** 3 Shows needed to be Eligible for a Series Award Points will be calculated 10,6,4,2,1,1/2 1ST - BLUE 2ND - RED 3RD - YELLOW 4TH - WHITE RIBBON AWARDS: 5TH - PINK 6TH - GREEN 7TH - PURPLE 8TH - BROWN RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR HORSE SHOW 1. Every class offered herein which is covered by the specifications of the current USEF Rule Book Zone II, and the LIHSAA will be conducted and judged in accordance therewith. 2. Member: Long Island Score Awards Association. All points won at this show will count toward the annual Long Island High Score Awards. In order to be eligible for an award in any LIHSAA section, the horse, pony or rider must have shown in that section in at least six member shows. 3. ENTRIES CLOSE 48 HOURS PRIOR TO THE SHOW. NO PHONE ENTRIES. 4. NO NUMBERS WILL BE GIVEN OUT WITHOUT FEES PAID FOR IN FULL AND ENTRY BLANK SIGNED BY BOTH EXHIBITOR OR HIS AUTHORIZED AGENT AND TRAINER. THIS RULE WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED. 5. All exhibitors in the Pony and Junior Hunter Sections must present their measurement cards at the Show Office before number may be picked up to speed processing, you may send a photostat of your card with your entry blank. All Ponies and Junior Hunters that do not have measurement cards will be measured. Time and place of measurement will be announced. 6. Classes with insufficient entries may be cancelled or combined. 7. Should any question or dispute arise that is not provided for in these Rules, the same shall be referred to the Shows Management, WHOSE DECISION SHALL BE FINAL. 8. Prize money will be deducted from your total fees. Entry Fee is $35.00 per class, unless otherwise noted. Late Fee $50. Received after the 48 hr deadline. Incomplete entry blanks (Blanks without all numbers & info) will be considered to be late and will be subject to post entry fees. 9. Division Championships - Will be awarded on the basis of the USEF Rules in all Hunter and Jumper divisions. Division championships will be awarded on points Jumper 10,6,4,2,1,1/2, Hunter 10,6,4,2,1,1/2 and Equitation 10,6,4,2,1,1/2. In the case of equal points, the rider with the most points over fences will be declared the Champion. In the event there is a still a tie the rider with the most points in the first class over fences will be declared Champion. 10. Riders who have conflicts must see the Gateperson at each ring so that the necessary adjustments may be made. Trainer conflicts will not be honored. 11. The committee reserves the right to add to or vary the list of judges if necessary. 12. Sharps container located in the secretary s stand. 13. Checks returned unpaid will be subject to a $50.00 service charge and any future entries will be on a cash basis only. 14. Show Scratch Fee $ Schooling sessions $25 per trip for the comfort and safety of our exhibitors and their horses during schooling, schooling in all competition and schooling rings will be carefully monitored. You must enter the show & wear a back number in order to school. A grounds fee and a $25 fee per schooling round will be charged. 16. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to have current membership for any and all classes,which require the same. Any fines incurred by the horse show for incorrect memberships will be the responsibility of the exhibitor. Individuals unable to present proof of membership are required to complete a USEF/USHJA show pass form and pay a Show Pass Fee in the amount of $45 USEF & $30 USHJA. 17. Measurements by appointment. Please contact show management 24 hours prior to the show to arrange. *Must be entered in the show on day of measurement. 18. Two or more tests of the top four competitors are required. The same pony must be used in all phases. Only one rider per pony. (Riders may not ride in more than one height section of the class.) Three riders must complete the course in order for points to count. The rider must be a member in order for points to count toward qualifying for the Finals. Entry Fee: $40.00 Life, senior active and junior active members shall be eligible to participate in all classes at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions at the Preliminary Level or above and Combined Driving Competitions at the Advanced Level, Dressage, Reining and Vaulting Competitions and Endurance Rides. A nonmember may participate as a handler, rider,driver, owner, lessee, agent, coach or trainer at Regular Competitions, Eventing Competitions, Dressage Competitions, Reining Competitions and Combined Driving Competitions upon payment of a $45 Show Pass fee. Participants in the following classes are exempted from the Requirements of this rule: 1) leadline; 2) exhibitions; 3) games and races; 4) classes for 4-H members; 5) walk trot (exception: Friesian performance FR222) and academy classes (academy classes are classes limited to horses used regularly in a lesson program); 6) USDF introductory level tests, pas de deux and quadrille classes; 7) NRHA Endorsed Reining Competitions. 8) Opportunity classes, 9) citizens of other nations who have proof, in English, of current membership in good standing of their own National Federation, 10) USEA beginner novice division; and 11) assistant handlers in Dressage Sport Horse Breeding classes.

9 LIHSAA SPECIFICATIONS FOR 2018 LIHSAA MEDIUM ADULT MEDAL DIVISION: Exhibitors must be Adult Amateur Riders who have not won three (3) blue ribbons in any 3' or higher equitation class. 1st through 6th place will receive points as To be shown over a lower and/ or modified version of the courses used in the National Medal Classes (3'6" and 3' classes). Riders may not compete in any classes exceeding 2 6 at the same show that they compete in the Medium Adult Division. Fences not to exceed 2'6. May combine Pre Mini and Medium Adult Equitation if one section has less than 3 entries HUGH J.B. CASSIDY III MEDIUM ADULT MACLAY: Open to adult amateur riders. All contestants are required to perform over at least eight fences at 2 6" with or without wings. A minimum of 12 riders if available is required to show at a walk, trot and canter. To be judged on seat, hands, guidance and control of the horse. The Under Saddle shall count 50%. Test Only one rider per horse. ROBERT HOSKINS MEDIUM ADULT MEDAL: Open to adult amateur riders. To be shown over a course of not less than eight obstacles at 2 6" which must include one combination including an oxer, and two changes of direction. Two or more tests of the top four contestants are required. Tests Only one rider per horse. PHA MEDIUM ADULT: To be run in accordance with current PHA equitation rules. Rider must be a Member of the LIPHA as of the date he/she competes in an Adult PHA Medal Class in order for points to count. Fences at 2 6". The LIPHA sponsors Equitation classes in several divisions. LIHSAA HIGH ADULT/MINI JUNIOR MEDAL EQUITATION DIVISION: Riders in the following mini/adult medal equitation classes may not compete in classes where fences exceed 3'6" at the same show. Height of Fences 3 0. May be split between junior and adult classes if entries warrant at management discretion but LIHSAA pts are combined. HUGH J.B. CASSIDY III HIGH ADULT/MINI JR. MACLAY: Open to adult amateur and junior riders. All contestants are required to perform over at least eight fences at 3 0" with or without wings.
