2 CG KICKBOXING RANKING CURRICULUM WARM WELCOME Welcome to the CG Kickboxing system. Inside this manual you will find the complete ranking curriculum of the CG Kickboxing system. This guidebook is meant to offer an insight on a full Kickboxing experience using effective techniques and training challenges. It will also help you prepare for testing with a clear step by step progression of the CG Kickboxing curriculum. Please note what you will learn in the CG Kickboxing guidebook will never replace regular training in class. To practice correctly and gain a high level of understanding of the CG Kickboxing system, training under the guidance of a qualified instructor is required. The CG Kickboxing system guidebook will however assist you to get the most out of your training in class. WHAT IS CG KICKBOXING CG Kickboxing is a full Kickboxing curriculum designed to assist and challenge you to master the art of fighting on your feet by using all effective stand up techniques and to develop your body and spirit. There is a small requirement of fitness health and maturity where the instructor will have the right to make a judgement for you to qualify. In class you will be involved in warm ups, cardio and strength training, blocks and evades, kick and punch techniques, combinations, footwork and controlled sparring etc... 1
