27 Programme Goals To increase the quality of teams in adult, junior and wheelchair programmes with the ultimate goal of increasing the competitive depth for the Olympic and Paralympic Games and qualification for those events. To stabilize high performance athlete and coaching development to ensure curling becomes an important winter sport within each participating MA s National Olympic and Paralympic Committees and the general sport community. 27 World Curling Federation

Olympic system (10 years): 6 winners ranked third or fourth after the round-robin Page system (11 years): 2 winners ranked third or fourth after the round-robin 2005, Ferbey 2015, Edin When the page system was introduced many thought it would benefit Canada It didn t.
