Mailboxes for all National Federation are located at Information Centre in the Athletes Area (Appendix 2, no 12). Information includes official announcements and general notices, and start lists and results. Team manager will receive information upon request. -4-
7 C. GENERAL INFORMATION General Programme Official opening of the Regatta Venue Monday 23 July. Every day the course is closed 30 minutes before closing the venue Venue Opening Time on training days The venue is open from until hrs. Venue Opening Time during racing days The venue is open from until hrs. Training during racing days From hrs until 30 minutes prior to the first race and 15 minutes after last race until hrs. Meetings All meetings will be held in the conference room in the building behind the finish tower. The Preliminary Team Managers Meeting will take place in the conference room on Monday 23 July 2018 at 15:00 hrs. The Team Managers Meeting and Draw will take place in the conference room on Tuesday 24 July 2018 at 15:00 hrs. The Daily Team Managers Meeting will take place in the conference room 30 minutes after the start of the last race of the day on Wednesday 25 July to Saturday 28 July
8 D. TRAINING AND COMPETITION ON THE COURSE Control Commission The Control Commission is located between the outgoing and incoming pontoons. The Control Commission will be in operation during all times the venue is officially open. Crew changes On arrival, Team Managers will receive a list of their crews as entered. Should there be any changes in the crew composition, seating order or errors in spelling, the Crew Change Form must be completed and submitted to the FISA representative in the Accreditation office before the Draw. For changes after the Draw contact the FISA office. Crew photos Team managers will be notified of the athletes that have not yet had their photographs taken for the FISA athlete database. These athletes should report to the accreditation centre and have their photographs taken and passports scanned prior to issuing accreditation. Boat numbers Boat numbers will be distributed to crews on the outgoing pontoon and will be collected again at the incoming pontoon. -6-
9 D.TRAINING AND COMPETITION ON THE COURSE GPS Devices All boats must be fitted with a base plate to hold the GPS timing devices. These plates will be fixed to the boats by a team of OC volunteers and by Swiss Timing technicians on Tuesday, 24 July and Wednesday, 25 July in the boat weighing area. Please ensure they are in place before the first day of race. Advertising Please check the FISA Rules of Racing and related Bye-Laws to ensure that your racing uniforms and boats comply with the advertising rules. Boat weighing Boat weighing will take place in Boathouse no. 11. Test scales will be available from Tuesday 24 July, and will be open at all times that the venue is open, except during racing. Athlete weighing Athlete weighing will be located in the tent next to the boathouse. Test scales will be available from Tuesday 24 July, and will be open during opening hours of the venue. -7-
10 E.TEAM FACILITIES AND SERVICES Athletes area Manager: Aleksandra Śliwicka Telephone number: address: Boat storage The boat racks are situated in the boathouse area (Map No 2). The Organizing Committee will assign boat racks for all boats. Teams are responsible to make sure that their boats are safely tied to the racks at all times and are in no risk to be damaged due to adverse weather conditions. Launch pontoons There are two outgoing and two incoming pontoons. Boat repair Boat builders are located at the parking lot above the athletes area. There is also a boat repair workshop in the same location. Boat washing No chemical detergents or other sources of environmental pollutants should be used during boat washing. The boat washing area is in front of the boathouse. Ergometers Ergometers are provided in the tent next to the boathouse. Changing rooms The changing rooms are situated above the boathouse (Map No 2). -8-
11 E.TEAM FACILITIES AND SERVICES Sanitary facilities/toilets There are toilets and showers in the changing rooms above the boathouse. There are also toilets in the athletes area near the information centre. Cooling baths There is no possibility to use cooling baths at the venue. Bag storage There will be a secure area in the tent next to the boathouse for athlete s bag storage. The bag drop-off will be open during the official opening times of the course. Instead of getting a classic bag-ticket, your bag will be saved using a digital food and luggage card which you get during accreditation process. Rest area The resting area for athletes is in the tent situated next to the boathouse. Place for tents of nationals teams is located on the parking lot above the athletes area. Viewing for Athletes Athletes can view the races from the grandstands by the accreditation centre. Coach viewing During training and racing, coaches can cycle along the course but they must take care as the roads around the course are also open to the public. Bikes can be rented from Malta Ski by the ski slope or ordered from the organizer by office@rowing.poznan.pl. -9-
12 F. MEDICAL FACILITIES AND SERVICES Emergency In case of a (medical) emergency, immediately call 112. Medical centre Manager: Łukasz Zarzyński Telephone number: The Medical Centre is located in the athletes area by the entrance from the shuttle bus drop off and will be open during the opening times of the venue. First aid will be available at the venue during the opening times of the venue. Dental Service Wielkopolska Przychodnia Sportowo - Lekarska, ul. Wł. Reymonta 35, Poznań. Telephone number: Local hospital Wielospecjalistyczny Szpital Miejski im. J. Strusia - Located at 3 kilometres from the Venue, Szwajcarska 3, Poznań. Telephone number: Pharmacy In the Galeria Malta near to the start area. Note: the expenses for any medical treatment are the responsibility of the patient. All national federations are responsible for adequate insurance of their team members according to Rule 22 of the FISA Rules of Racing. -10-
13 F. MEDICAL FACILITIES AND SERVICES Rescue and safety There will be an on-water rescue team in charge of on-water rescue during official hours of the regatta course. Doping Control The anti-doping control test centre is located in the Medical Centre above boathouse. All doping control tests will be conducted in accordance with WADA and FISA requirements. For all information about the Anti-Doping controls and procedures, please refer to the World Anti-Doping Code and International Standards available on the website and the FISA Anti-Doping Bye-Laws. Further information is available on the FISA website Massage The massage facility is located in the tent situated next to the boathouse. The Organizing Committee does not provide physiotherapists. -11-
14 G. TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING SERVICES FOR TEAMS Transportation office Manager: Bartosz Zimiński Telephone number: The transportation centre is located in the Accreditation centre. Transportation is free of charge only for the teams which booked accommodation through the Organizing Committee. The below mentioned services are provided to them: 1) Bus transfer from Airport/Train Station to their hotels. 2) Bus transfers from their hotels to the venue and back during the World Rowing Under 23 Championships. 3) Bus transfer from their hotels to the Airport/Train station. Bookings for these services can be made the following way: 1) All teams will be requested to share their travel details with the OC. Each team will be contacted by the Transportation Manager to confirm their shuttle from the airport to their hotel. 2) All teams will be requested by the Transportation Manager to complete the transportation request form each day, for the following day. Special inquiries can be made at the transportation centre at the course as well as at the hospitality desks in each hotel. 3) All teams are to complete the transportation request form 24 hours prior do their departure. Each team will be contacted by the Transportation Manager to confirm their shuttle from their hotel to the airport. -12-

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING SERVICES FOR TEAMS AIRPORT/RAILWAY TRANSPORT Arrival at Poznan Ławica Airport At the Ławica Airport, a there will be a welcome desk for the teams and will guide them to their hotel shuttle. You will find it at the arrival gate. Arrival at Poznań Główny Train station At Poznań Główny Train Station, a host will welcome the teams at the train station to guide them to their hotel shuttles. You will find the host at the arrival platform. LOCAL TRANSPORT Transfer between accommodation and venue The buses will wait in front of your hotel. To go from the venue to the hotel you can get on to the buses at the athlete bus drop off point. The official transport service will operate from Monday July 23 th until Sunday 29 th of July. Transport before these dates is available upon request. The service will operate from to hours on training days and from to hours on racing days. -13-

TRANSPORTATION AND PARKING SERVICES FOR TEAMS Team vehicles and parking Due to the limited parking space available at the facility, teams will not be able to use their own transport vehicles for access to the venue (only 1 car per team is allowed), and therefore, they should use the official transport service provided by the organizing committee. The parking for vehicles having a parking pass is located by the entrance to the regatta course from Wiankowa Street. Teams can collect their parking pass from the accreditation centre. At the venue there is no space for teams coaches. All teams are requested to leave their coaches on a specially designated parking which is situated close to the Malta venue near Termy Maltańskie and hotel Novotel Malta. NOVOTEL parking for MALTA coaches TERMY MALTAŃSKIE Transportation of boats and parking On Sunday and Monday the trailers can be unloaded in the boathouse area. After teams have unloaded their boats at the boathouse area, the trailers must be moved immediately to the trailer parking area above the athletes area. Trailers will only be allowed access to the boathouse area again on the 29 July half an hour after the final race. -14-
17 H. ACCOMMODATION All reservations must be made through the OC. The teams that have special requirements for their accommodation are encouraged to state their requests in writing to the OC. The OC will do everything possible to meet their needs. FOOD FACILITIES AND SERVICES Meal times At the accommodations: Breakfast: hrs Lunch: hrs Dinner: hrs Lunch at the regatta venue: July: hrs General information Teams who have booked their accommodation through the OC reside at selected hotels on a full board basis. Breakfast and dinner are accounted for at the accommodation while lunches are accounted on the venue. Lunches at the hotel must be ordered and/or cancelled one day in advance until hrs at accommodation office next to score board. Additional lunches at the venue can be purchased for 20 per lunch per person 24 hours in advance (11 hrs the previous day) from the accreditation centre. Please be advised that tap water in Poland is drinkable. Athletes are encouraged to use their reusable water bottles. Lunches at the venue The athletes restaurant at the regatta venue is located in the tent by the accreditation centre. Digital food and luggage card During the accreditation process, you will get a digital card with an unique barcode. This card eligible you to get a lunch as you previously ordered: at hotel or at the venue. Using this card you can get one lunch each regatta day. -17-
20 J. ACCREDITATION Accreditation office Manager: Alicja Łagoda Telephone: address: The accreditation office is located in the building by the results board and is opened during opening times of the venue. General Accreditation opens on the 23 July and is located at the accreditation office. The opening times of the Accreditation Centre are as follows: - From July from hrs - From July from hrs - On 29 July from 7.00 to hrs Team Managers are requested to make an appointment with the Accreditation Centre as early as possible. Athlete photos will be taken and Passports will be checked when the accreditation card is collected. Late accreditation requests received after the accreditation deadline will be considered as late applications and will be handled by FISA Entries Entries close on Friday 13 July 2018, midnight. For instructions or further information, please contact Daniela Oronova at daniela.oronova@fisa.org FISA biography and commitment forms All competitors and team officials who have not already done so are required to sign the FISA Commitment Form and athletes should complete the Athlete Biography form. These forms will be distributed to the Teams by FISA and should be returned to the FISA representative in the Accreditation Office before the Draw and in the FISA office after the Draw. -18-
21 K. MEDIA Media Center Manager: Izabela Głowacka Telephone: address: The Media Center is located below the grandstands. Accreditation International and local media should seek accreditation through FISA All media can pick up accreditation at Accreditation Centre starting from Tuesday 24 July. Interviews & press conferences Information on interview requests, press conferences and the mixed zone will be available in media information centre. The FISA media staff will inform Team Managers ahead of time for interview requests to interview athletes. Mixed Zone After Final A, the order of priority for interviews with medal winning crews in this area is: 1. Host Broadcaster 2. Rights-holding television 3. Right-holding radio 4. Print -19-
22 K. MEDIA Athletes are encouraged to speak to the press when required. World Rowing Productions will be present at World Rowing events to make video and news clips to promote the athletes and the sport. They will be posted on the World Rowing You Tube Channel ( ) and all our main social media platforms. The World Rowing Press Officer may contact you to schedule interviews and we request your cooperation in this matter especially the prompt arrival of your athlete(s) at any pre-arranged interview. L. TELEVISION / RADIO Broadcasting All races will be recorded and broadcasted in a closed circuit system. -20-
23 M. MISCELLANEOOUS SERVICES Banking The currency in Poland is Polish New Zloty (PLN). You can find a foreign exchange service in every hotel. Internet & Wi-Fi Each hotel has its own arrangements concerning Wi-Fi. Please contact the reception desk at your hotel. At the venue, free Wi-Fi is available for teams. Lost and Found The lost and found facility is located in the bag storage area in the tent next to the boathouse. Car rental Visit the Team information center for the possibilities concerning car rental. Shops/markets The closest market is Galeria Malta located near to the start area. Religious services For specific details, contact the Team Information Center. Tourist information For information about (tours inside and outside) Poznań, visit the Team Information Center. -21-
24 N. GRANDSTANDS The grandstand for spectators: teams, friends, family and VIPs is located near the finish line. The General Grandstand is ticketed. Please book your ticket in advance via Ticket sale will be organized at the Accreditation Centre and on the public entrance to the General Grandstands area. The number of spaces on the FISA Family Grandstand is limited, so tickets will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Grandstands are accessible for wheel-chair users. Presidents Grandstand Presidents Grandstand is reserved for presidents and secretary-generals of National Rowing Federations. The tickets can be collected from Accreditation Centre. O. HOSPITALITY FACILITIES AND SERVICES Hospitality tent The hospitality area will provide a hospitality service. It will be located below the grandstand by the victory ceremony pontoon and will be operated on Saturday 28 July and Sunday 29 of July. Each National Federation will receive two complementary tickets which can be collected from the Accreditation Centre. -22-
25 P. OFFICIAL CEREMONIES AND SOCIAL EVENTS Opening ceremony The Opening Ceremony will take place on Tuesday, 24 July 2018 at 19:00 hrs on General Grandstands. All athletes and guests are invited to join. There will be no training on the water during the Opening Ceremony. Victory ceremony Victory ceremonies will be held in front of the grandstand near the finish line, immediately after each Final A on Saturday 28 July and on Sunday 29 July. Nations Dinner The Nations Dinner will be held on Saturday 28 July at hrs, at the Poznań International Fair, ul. Głogowska 14, Poznań, PL. Transportation will be provided from the Regatta venue and hotels. Each National Federation will receive two complementary tickets which can be collected from accreditation centre. Please confirm your attendance at or by gabriela.braciszewska@onet.pl no later than July 27th. Closing ceremony Closing ceremonies will be held immediately after the Victory ceremony of the last final race. -23-
