In 1983 the Indiana Historical Society, in cooperation with the Society of Indiana Pioneers, published a list of approved ancestors accepted from 1916 through A second volume, containing a list of approved ancestors accepted from 1983 through 1999 was published in Both volumes are on sale via the IHS Basile History Market. In order to provide current information about new pioneer ancestors accepted into the Society of Indiana Pioneers and about additional lines of descent, The Hoosier Genealogist published the list of ancestors approved the previous year in each spring issue through the 2006 volume of THG: Connections. Starting in 2007 these lists will appear in Online Connections on the IHS Web site. The list of ancestors accepted in 2006 appears below.
