3 Ride. Race. Enjoy. MA National Council (Alliance) The MA National Council (Alliance) is responsible for strategic direction, and is made up of one delegate from each SCB, usually the SCB President. The Council elects 4 Directors to the MA Board, which in turn appoints 2 independent Directors The objectives of the Alliance are to: Align common, national strategic objectives from MA & SCB strategic plans Recognise that each participant may have differential local strategic objectives, but must not be in conflict with MA alliance strategic objectives Review alliance strategic objectives annually Subject to the Law and to MA s Constitution, the Council shall meet at least twice a year. Board of Directors The MA Board is responsible for implementing and reviewing the adopted Strategic Plan, governance and endorsing Commission and Committee members.
