3 1 Introduction The 2018 FIM Mototour of Nations is organised by Jordan Riders Group, on behalf of the Royal Motorcycle Club of Jordan (FMN). The meeting will be held from the April 26 th to the 28 th 2018 according to the FIM Code for Touristic Gatherings (hereafter known as CTG) Category 1.4 FIM Mototour of Nations section; to the FIM regulations, FMNR Regulations and to these Supplementary Regulations. It will take place at the Geographic Region of the Dead Sea - Jordan. 1.1 Organisation The organisation of the 2018 Mototour of Nations has been delegated to: Name: Address: Post: Facebook: Jordan Riders Group Royal Motorcycle Club of Jordan PO Box 640, Amman 11831, Jordan jordanridersrally@gmail.com Jordan Riders 1.2 Composition of the Executive Committee of the meeting FIM Jury President: Mr. Panagiotis Kalaitzis Director of the 2018 Mototour of Nations: Mr. Mustafa Shaaban The first meeting of the Executive Committee will be held on April h. Subsequent meetings will be fixed by the Executive Committee. 2 Participation in the Mototour of Nations The number of participants will be limited to 400. Entries will be accepted from/to: - Participants from the World: February 25 th to March 30 th, Participants from the Middle East & Gulf: February 25 th to April 15 th, Entries may be accepted after these dates at the discretion of the Executive Committee. If accepted, additional charges may apply for late entries (up to 25%). The main focus of travel along the chosen itineraries will be that of ensuring participants safety. Participants will be split into three groups, each group accompanied by an escort of at least 3 riders, at a steady tourist speed, with frequent stops as per the program. Major junctions will be manned, and the road selected will be tarmacked and suitable for motorcycling in any weather. Over the three days the total distance travelled will be around 450km. 3 Entries & Entry Form Supplementary Regulations v1.0 Page 3 of 7

4 3.1 Entry Form Individual entries will be made on the electronic form available for this purpose ( which will be delivered to the FMNs by the organiser (Art. 3 of the Category 1.4 of the CTG). The FMNs will return the entry forms to the organiser after verification (see address in article 1.2). 3.2 National Delegates Each participating FMN should nominate one delegate holder of Tourism Steward s license. The nomination shall be made in writing to the organiser at least 30 days before the event. 3.3 Members Entered Lists The FMNs will also add a summary list of the members entered; the sum paid for the entry fee and for the accommodation in accordance with Reg. 7. Summary list is to be delivered in electronic Excel format providing the following information: 1. Names of participants 2. Amounts paid for registration 3. Distance of Moto Club from the Event HQ 4. Motorcycle brand 5. License number 6. Type of motorcycle 7. address of national delegate 4 Entry Fees The entry fee includes: 1. Rally participation fees 2. Accommodation for three nights at the Crowne Plaza Dead Sea Hotel 3. Breakfast for two days, on route lunch for two days, dinner and entertainment for three nights The entry fees are as follows: 1. Single room: Double room (shared): Without accommodation: 375 Children between the ages of 8 and 12 will pay 50% of the adult entrance fee. Children under the age of 8 will be admitted free of charge. The Jordan Riders Rally is sponsored by Euro Shipping Co. who will be shipping the motorcycles of participants from Europe free of charge. 5 - Cost of shipping: Free of charge - Last date for return: Jeeza April 30 th, ETA Genoa May 20 th - Return collection point: ESS Jeeza Storage Yard Required items to be submitted to the agent in Genoa Italy and in Jeeza Jordan: - Triptik (Carne de Passage) for motorcycle - Motorcycle keys - Registration papers - Copy of owner passport It is not the responsibility of the organiser nor shipper if the participant misses the dates of collection. The entry fee, must be transferred in full (100%) by the FMNs of the participants before March 30 th, 2018 to the following account: Account Name: Bank Name: Wael Albakri Arab Bank Account Number: 0139/071414/500 IBAN: JO23 ARAB The transfer costs are to be paid by the expeditor. 5 Gifts, Souvenirs & Services for the Participants Participant who has paid the entry fee through FMNs will receive the minimal benefits listed in Art. 4 of the category 1.4 of the CTG. List of benefits: Participation in the FIM Mototour of Nations 2018 Accommodation in the for the duration of the event (3 nights) in Single or shared Double rooms. 1 st day (26/4/2018): Dinner 2 nd day (27/4/2018): Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner 3 rd day (28/4/2018): Breakfast, Lunch, Gala Dinner with commemorative picture. Last day (29/4/2018): breakfast, check-out Souvenir medal or pin or commemorative plaque or ornament. Other souvenirs at the discretion of the organiser. 6 Welcome / Administrative Centre The Administrative Centre will be open on April 26 th, 2018 from 09:00h till 17:00h in the Hotel grounds. 7 Prizes Supplementary Regulations v1.0 Page 5 of 7

6 7.1 Prizes to be Awarded The following trophies will be awarded: 1. National Federations for their participation. 2. Age of participant. Youngest and Oldest. 7.2 Trophy Giving Ceremony This will take place during the Gala Dinner on the evening of Saturday April 28 th, 2018 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dead Sea. 7.3 Awards 1. National Federation: the FIM Mototour of Nations Trophy (made available by the Organizing Federation) will be given to each participating Federation. 2. Age classification: The youngest and oldest riders will be given cups or trophies. The Mototour of Nations organisers may present certain other awards at the discretion of the Executive Committee. 8 Cancellation 8.1 Cancellation of Meeting According to Art. 2.7 of the General Part of the CTG. The organiser can cancel the meeting: If, at the closing date, the number of entries is below 100. In the case of absolute necessity. In the case of cancellation of the meeting, the participants who transmitted their entry forms before the closing entry date, through FMNs will be notified and reimbursed through the FMN. 8.2 Cancellation of registration by participant In case of individual registration cancelling: - It shall be made by the FMN of the participant and shall be delivered to the Organiser no later than March 31 st, In this case 90% of the registration fee will be refunded. - 50% will be refunded if cancellation is between April 1 st, 2018 and April 14 th, After April 15 th, 2018 no reimbursement is available. 9 Liability of the Authorities, Organisers and Participants According to article 4 of the General Part of the CTG. 10 Rider Conduct and Protection of the Environment Participants of the FIM Mototour of Nations are motorcyclist ambassadors for their country and are expected to consider other road users in accordance with article 3 of the General Part of the CTG. All governing laws and regulations should be respected. Recommendations for Road Users: Motorcyclists are expected to consider other road users (CTG article 3). 7 Article 11.2 of the Environment Code Rider Conduct: 11 Other a. Individual motorcyclists should develop riding habits to ensure full integration with other types of road users. b. Ride safely and avoid aggressive and competitive riding. c. Save petrol and reduce pollution by avoiding unnecessary idling of engines. d. Ride politely and limit noise pollution by using your horn only in an emergency. e. Noise annoyance. Use standard or another quiet exhaust system and keep audio systems at a low level, especially when you hear Mosques calling for prayer. f. Use only routes which are open to motorcyclists. g. Ride like a professional by riding at a quiet and unobtrusive pace when riding in groups. h. Respect nature by not travelling on paths which risk being damaged beyond a point of natural recovery. i. Protect wildlife and its natural habitat by riding intelligently. j. Ensure that your used oil, tyres, batteries and other recyclable items are properly recycled. k. Encourage a rational use of fuel and space economy by using motorcycles instead of driving automobiles. l. Remember that our cities and our roads are not circuits.
