After head coach Brian Pensky, who enters his fourth season at Tennessee, introduced the all 28 players on the 2015 roster to fans in the video room, the Volunteers signed autographs and interacted with fans of all ages eager for the start of the season. It s a win for everybody, Pensky said. It s another chance for our players to be leaders in the community and start to develop relationships with little girls that they were five, six, 10 years ago. We have a 17-year-old on our team. Five years ago, she might have been asking for autographs from some college player. It s an awesome opportunity for our players to get out and connect with these young kids who look up to our players. Later in the evening, the team split up into two squads for the Orange & White scrimmage, which ended in a 1-1 draw after Hannah Wilkinson scored an early goal for the Orange and Anna McClung scored later for the White. Hopefully it s the start of what will be a special fall with these families and these kids coming out to support our players all season long, Pensky said. 2
