George Elliot Secondary (GESS): Bottom Wood Lake Road, Lake Country. Rutland Secondary (RSS): 705 Rutland Road North, Kelowna. Please park in rear parking lot of off Dodd Road and use rear entrance. Format: All matches are best 2 of 3 ( ). No cap in any game. Open Format. Teams have been serpentined across all Pools within their Super Volley. Playoffs: "AA" Level - 1st & 2nd place teams advance to the Tier 1 Playoff. 3rd place teams advance to the Tier 2 Playoff. 4th & 5th place teams advance to the Tier 3 Playoff. "A" Level - All teams advance to the Tier 1 Playoff. Warm-up: Teams will be guaranteed a 6 minute warm-up in pool play (3 & 3) and a 10 minute warm up in playoffs (5 & 5). This includes hitting and serving. Rules: Volleyball Canada rules in effect. No libero and 12 limited substitution ("AA" Level) & 12 unlimited substitution ("A" Level) rule in effect. Setting/volleying the serve with the fingers is a fault net (athletes cannot touch the net while in the action of playing the ball) & field of play (the ball can contact the ceiling) rules are in effect. Officiating: Pool Play - Refereeing duties are in brackets. Pool Play - Teams will be responsible for providing Minor Officials (one second referee, two scorekeepers and two line judges) for scheduled opponent's matches. Playoffs - Teams will be responsible for providing 1 linesperson and 1 scorer for each of their OWN games.
