7 Coaches Draft Coach Draft (Coaches Only) April 18 th & 17 th All eligible returners in 8u, 10u, 12u will return to the same team in the same age group as last season. 4u and 6u players are assigned Draft Process Protected players (each coach is allowed 2) Draft order (Reverse order of finish - first year will be a draw) Age distribution for the league will be done evenly as possible between each teams Example: 4 teams / 32 players 16-7 y/o & 16 8 y/o Each team will get 4 of each age If a player does not attend coach look their number will be placed in the hat
8 Practice Times/Days will be determined by coaches / GSL staff Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights Practices will last one hour to an hour and a half (Please stay for practice) Possible locations Greenville Sports Park Practices begin April 23 rd
9 Games Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights May 12 th Only Saturday Possible locations Greenville Sports Park Games begin May 12 th No post season play (USSSA)
10 Uniforms/Equipment Blast Ball 4u GSL will provide a Jersey Top and Hat/Visor Shorts or baseball pants may be worn Tennis shoes or molded cleats (No metal cleats!) Equipment Gloves are optional but recommended No helmets or bats needed (provided by GSL)

14 Coaches All coaches are required to fill out a background check GSL will provide each team with 2 coach shirts Sports Specific drills and practice schedules Coach Determination: (Coaching is a privilege not a Right) Officially listed coach from previous season Parent of child participating on a team the previous year Assigned by GSL (GSL will have the final decisions on coaches)
