2 Welcome to the Terms of sale are cash or cheque payable to the seller on sale day. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement is made. Announcements All announcements made sale day shall take precedence over the printed matter in the catalogue. Accidents/Liabilities Every precaution has been taken to insure the safety and comfort of persons attending the sale. The consignors will not assume any responsibility and disclaim any liability, legal or otherwise, in the event of accident or loss of property. Fertility All bulls will have had a complete physical appraisal and fertility examination by an accredited veterinarian. Insurance Insurance personnel will be on hand sale day to help you insure your bulls. The bulls become the purchasers responsibility at the time of sale. Where are your ducks? For seven years now we have been told to get our ducks in a row because this thing is gonna get good again! I am not sure if it is good yet, but the cattle industry appears to be mending nicely right now. Feeder, fat and future markets all point to a shortage of North American beef. The global cow herd is down to pre-1960 s numbers and demand is on the rise. And so the time has come to make sure your ducks are properly aligned. Start by checking the bull pen. Looking in need of strengthening or new bloodlines? We can help you with that! We are the Working Stiff s and this is our 6th annual sale. This is also, bar none, the best set of bulls we have had the privilege of presenting to you. Thick and meaty Red and Black yearlings that have done very well on a moderate, all natural ration. As well as a set of Red 2 year old bulls that could lead off any event. Diane and I and our family would invite you down to Heartland in Virden to have a peek, have some lunch and hospitality, and maybe even buy a bull or two. We have a new location this year, and we have some young and enthusiastic sale partners that bring with them a keen eye for cattle, and a new energy to the business and our bull sale. We welcome Karl and Kristine and Derek to our event. So please join us on April 11 at 1 pm in Virden. Should your bull fail to be a satisfactory breeder, he will be replaced with a bull of equal value, or a credit shall be given towards the purchase of another bull from the seller. We will not provide replacement or credit for physical injury or mismanagement. That is why we stress the importance of insurance. Delivery Consignors will be happy in delivering or assisting in the delivery of your bull. Should you not be prepared to take your bull on sale day or immediately there after, the bulls can be left in the care of the consignors for delivery at a later date, the cost of which shall be worked out with the consignor. We do strongly suggest that your purchases be insured if you are not taking them home, as we can not be held responsible for accidents occurring after the sale. The bulls presented to you today have been developed on their respective farms. The goal of developing bulls for the long term is something that has not been lost to these producers. They have been fed to express their genetic potential for performance without sacrifi cing their long term breeding ability. Yearlings and two year olds, Black & Red will be available today for your buying pleasure. The three operations represented today have sourced their females and herd bulls from leading operations. This coupled with AI, performance testing, studying pedigrees and raising cattle under no fuss, no nonsense conditions have come together to offer you a product that will work under any ranching conditions. Dynamo is an easy doing, easy calving Casanova with a long spine, a wide top, and a big ass! His sons were very popular in the pen last year and this year looks to be the same. Use his sons on heifers and you can rest easy. Use them on cows and you will not be disappointed! These cattle are very easy doing with great structure and an even greater foot. You don t get opportunities to purchase proven herdsires like this very often in this business so when we saw Windy in the KBJ Round dispersal we had to put up our hand. A total outcross bull that is this good and has this much jam in him is a nearly impossible commodity to find. His calves are bigger framed, long, deep sided meat machines with a big top and hip. They are stylish and correct and have a ton of dark red hair! Windy possesses great disposition which he passes on and a different growth curve as his offspring get their size and maturity at an early age, and then level off. If you are looking for bulls to sire heavy calves that excel on feed, these guys will do you proud! He is easy calving with an excellent growth curve. He puts a nice top on his calves and an excellent rump. They have performed very well in the pen too, staying right with the other sire groups.
