6 PARKING, RACE OFFICE, DEPOSIT Throughout the whole weekend, parking is allowed in designated areas I. e. along Sw. Jacka, Norymberska and Twardowskiego streets as well as nearby parking lots. Note! No traffic is allowed on Wylom St. Race Office and EXPO are located at Wyłom St. Deposit for your valuables will be located close to the start area. BICYCLE SERVICE Saturday and Sunday, paid bicycle maintenance will be available in the EXPO area. Warning: cash payments only.

8 ETAP 1 - Swim XTERRA POLAND swimming course length is 1500 m - two laps. XTERRA Sprint swimming course length is 750 m - one lap. Swimming phase starts in Zakrzowek basin (water-start). Wetsuits are allowed for AGE GROUPS. For ELITE racers, it will be decided by the judges before start whether wetsuits are allowed or not. The direction of the swimming lap is counterclockwise (the buoys should be on your lefthand side). Expected water temperature 18-22oC. Time limit at swimming cut-off 50 min.

9 ETAP 2 - Bike XTERRA POLAND bike course length is 36 km two laps. XTERRA Short bike course length is 18 km one lap. 90% of the course leads through singletracks, lawns and gravel. Twice, the route crosses a tarmac road on which the traffic will be shut down partially. However, stay alert and proceed with caution! There will be nutrition points along the route. One at the near the Transition Zone and one halfway through each lap. They will be supplying water, isotonic drinks, and friuts. Drafting is allowed. Cycling helmets are mandatory! Cut-off time limit (swimming+bike) for both distances 3,5 h. NOTE! Along the route, there will be crew members checking race numbers and monitoring the race. Any attempts to take shortcuts will result in athlete being disqualified.

10 ETAP 3 - Run XTERRA POLAND running course length is 10 km 2 laps. XTERRA Sprint running course length is 5 km 1 lap. The course leads through country and forest paths. Some sections contain gravel and stones. There will be nutrition points along the route. One at the near the Transition Zone and one halfway through the course. They will be supplying water, isotonic drinks and fruits. NOTE! Along the route, there will be crew members checking race numbers and monitoring the race. Any attempts to take shortcuts will result in athlete being disqualified.

11 TRANSITION AREA T1 After entering the Transition Zone, all gear including the wetsuit and accessories should be put into the supplied bag located next to the bike. Athetes can leave the Transition Zone only wearing a helmet securely fastened and pushing the bike. Mounting is only allowed after fully leaing the Transition Zone and crossing the designated line. T2 Before entering the Transition Zone the athletes have to dismount before crossing the designated line. The helmet can be unfastened only after the bike has been put on the rack stand. The race number for the running phase has to be worn before leaving the Transition Zone. It needs to be visible at the front of the athlete s body (chest, belly, hips).
