2 Welcome to the 4th Iron Girl France-Nice! We are happy to welcome you on Sunday June 29th at 9:00am for the 4 th edition of Iron Girl Nice. This year again, you have shown us an exceptional enthusiasm with a new record of participation! So, we will be 750 girls on the startline to share sportive emotions and happiness to race for the charity INDIGO. Since 2011, we have supported the charity INDIGO, created to improve the quality of life and the quality of care for children and adolescent treated in the hemato-oncological service at the hospital L Archet. And thanks to you all, we have the honor to give INDIGO a donation which is each year more important. You will run around a common objective by participating in the Iron Girl. As it is your first race or as you are an experimented athlete, we wish you an excellent race and are waiting for you on the Finishline! We would like to thank the City of Nice and our partners for their support which is a key of the success of our event. 3 To pick up your race package, you have to bring: - Your 2014 sport licence (licences accepted : FFA, FFtri, FSCF Athlé/ FSGT Athlé, UFOLEP Athlétisme or a licence for a triathlon/athletics federation) Attention: If you have no licence you must provide a medical certificate from less than one year (of non-contra indication against the practice of athletics in competition). Without medical certificate, you cannot take part in the race! - Your identity card When you will take your race number, you will receive a race package with your start number included the timing chip, 4 safety pins, an Iron Girl t-shirt. Place: Iron Girl stand, in the Ironman Expo (Promenade des Anglais) Hours: Friday June 27th: form 9:00am to 7:00pm Saturday June 28th: form 9:00am to 7:00pm Stand Iron Girl

4 Schedules 8:55am: 9:00am: 9:20am: 9:30am: 10:00am: Go on the startline (Promenade des Anglais) Start of the 4 th Edition de l Iron Girl France Nice Arrival of the winner Podium of the Individuals Arrival of the last finisher (cutoff time) Cloackrooms You can let your belongings in the area called Espace Cotta (on the Promenade des Anglais, in front of the Finishline) Deposit and pick-up: from 8:00am to 10:30am Rules It is your own responsibility to read the race regulation. 6 Categories There are 3 categories: Individual - Team Family - Team Friends The runners who participate in team don t have to run together. This is not a relay: the team ranking will be made by adding the two times. Teams are limited to two participants. You will get the individual times as well as the team ranking. Race number Your race number has to be visible and placed on the front of your t-shirt. It mustn t be cut or folded. Timing The timing chip is included in your start number. You must wear the start number to be ranked.

7 Distance: 5 km Participants will have to gather on the start line 5 minutes before the race start. Start located on the Promenade des Anglais. 1 lap (go and back). 1 water supply at the middle of the course. Finishline: IRONMAN. Cut off time: 1 hour.

8 Awards Each participant will receive a finisher medal after crossing the Finishline. A podium will be set up for the 3 first Iron Girl (from the individual category). The 3 first teams of each category will be able to pick up their awards at the Info Stand (Promenade des Anglais) after the results validation (the IronKIDS race being right after the Iron Girl race, the podium cannot be set on the Finishline, thank you for your understanding). After-finish aid station At the end of your race, you will receive a bag with aid station. Our partner PERFORMANCE NUTRITION will offer you a energy bar. Results & Photos At the Info stand on the Promenade after the race; online the next day. The first photos will be posted on our Facebook page the day after the race! 9 Medal Engraving For those who pre-ordered the option ENGRAVING MEDAL, you must go in the After Finish area after your race to make your medal engraved. Go to the ENGRAVING Stand and give your name and bib number. Attention, there will no possible to make the engraving the day after the race! Medal engraving Finisher Pix Photos Package For those who pre-ordered the option Finisher Pix Photos package, you will automatically receive an after the race with a link to download your personal photos (generally 48h after the event). For those have not pre-ordered his option, you could always order your photos directly on the website

10 Indigo s main goal is to improve the quality of life and the quality of care for children treated at the hospital l Archet and the Foundation Lenval, and to participate to the training of the medical staff. Thanks to INDIGO, sick children keep evolving and progressing during their period of illness.
