26 Bike Check In You will receive your Timing Chip and Chip Band at Transition Check Out A lost Timing Chip will cost Eur ONLY ATHLETES and the OFFICIAL BIKE SERVICE CREWS are allowed in Transition

27 Bike Check In We care about the safety of your valuable bike. Security is provided at Transition, and it is video monitored Please advise Race Officials should you notice anything You can lock your Bike at the Racks The Race Organisers cannot be held responsible for any theft or loss

28 Race Day - Before The Start Please pack warm gear! Take with everything you need for the bike. Incl. the white and blue bag Take with everything you will need post Race and put it in the white Bag DO NOT FORGET YOUR TIMING CHIP Transition is open from 5:30 to 7:00

29 Race Day - The Rules It is Forbidden......Walkman, ipod, Mobile Phone, Cameras etc.... Outside Assistance, or pacing... No aid allowed outside the official aid stations, or from non Race Staff... coaching... No littering outside the aid stations

30 Race Day - The Rules It is Forbidden...to modify your Race Number in any way...to leave the course for your advantage...unsportsmanlike Behaviour towards anyone

31 Race Day - The Rules Should you quit the race, you are compelled to advise a Race Referee, Team Leader, or Medical personnel. Should you not advise of your retiring from the Race, you will be help financially liable for the costs of the search

32 Race Day - before the Start Bike Service available in Transition You may not put your own pumps in the Street Wear Bgs No customization and marking of your Transition Bags or bike Toilettes are available at Transition and the Start Transition closes at 7:00

33 Race Day - before the Start Drop off your Street Wear Bag next to the Irondome PROs and 18-24/25-29 (wave 1-3) please go direct to the prestart area the Irondome is heated and open from 6am only for athletes please be at the prestart area 20 min. before your wave start (dress warmly and be bike ready) you must access the start via the prestart area ONLY to cross the timing mats.

34 Start Procedure Please pack your warm gear not required for the bike into your blue bag you will be started in groups of 15 every 30 sec. drop your blue bag at the drop zone ensure your helmet is on and strap is clipped only mount your bike once over the blue mount line

35 BIKE: Rules Your helmet must be on and clipped in place at all times during the bike The Race Number must be visible at all times, at the back on the bike The Austrian Rules of the Road apply The upper body must be covered You may not leave the course, if you do, you must return at the point you left

41 BIKE: Drafting/Blocking No Drafting allowed!!! 10m 1,5m width separation No Blocking: 15 seconds to pull along side The athlete being over taken has 15 seconds to drop back The over taken athlete has to wait for the maneuver to be completed before attempting to over take

42 BIKE: Penalties Slow- Rules: the Referee will warn you should it be deemed you are threatening to draft, please observe and fall back) Yellow Card: Stop-and-Go in the Penalty Box For minor infringements (bspw. Blocking) 3 x cards = Disqualification Black Card: 4 minutes time penalty in the Penalty Box Only for Drafting 2 x black = Disqualification Red Card: Immediate Disqualification oder oder = DQ

43 BIKE: Penalties As soon as you receive a penalty, go to the first possible Penalty Tent/Box (before each Aid Station and T2) If you skip a Penalty Tent = DQ Advise the Race Referee of your Penalty. Serve your penalty and then you will be allowed to continue racing You may not use the Penalty to your advantage (no eating, drinking, stretching)

44 T2: Bike - Run Dismount your bike before the Blue Line at the beginning of the Transition Rack your bike at your designated place according to your Race Number Collect your red RUN Bag Only change in the Transition Tent Pack all your bike gear in the red RUN Bag, close the bag and leave it at the Drop Off Zone

46 Run: Rules 1. You may not leave or shorten the course, cut the course. 2. No outside assistance, coaching, or pacing whatsoever is allowed. A 1 min Stop-and- Go Penalty will be enforced 3. I-POD, MP3-Player, mobile phones are forbidden. 4. No littering is allowed 5. Ensure that the Race Number is in front and clearly visible. 6. Your upper body must be covered

48 Run 21,1 km - Flat and fast, Asphalt - Gravel 2 big laps When you have run the 400m track for the Third Time turn left into the Finish CUTOFF: 7h20min from your start

49 Run- Aid Stations 4 Aid Stations per lap (every 2 km)

50 Finish Soak up and enjoy the Finish atmosphere Be sure your Race Number is in front, and your are LOOKING GOOD for the photos Please make your way through the final, Finish Aid Station If you require medical attention, please notify the medical staff in the final aid station Please hand in your Timing Chip

51 After your Finish Relax in the Relaxation Tent (Only for athletes) Enjoy a Massage Have your medal engraved Collect your Streetware Bag im Relaxation Tent Check out your bike: 14:00-17:00 Dinner: 16:30-18:00 (extra Tickets at the entrance)

53 Protest At the InfoPoint, 30 minutes after your finish, cost is Eur50.00, which is refunded should your protest succeed
