The ASA Board will report to members on the activities of ASA over the past year at the ASA AGM. An official notice of the ASA AGM, in accordance with the ASA Constitution, will follow soon. Although ASA has still major objectives to achieve in 2018, such as the Athletics World Cup and IAAF World Junior Championships, ASA is now in preparation for the 2019 athletics season with the 2019 IAAF World Championships as ultimate objective for the 2019 athletics season. As reported at the 2017 ASA AGM and 2017 ASA CM, ASA started the alignment of SASA and USSA with the ASA Long Term Preparation Strategy. The consultation process with USSA and SASA is ongoing, and more information will be provided at the upcoming ASA AGM. Attached is the first draft (April 2018 version) of the 2019 ASA Fixtures List. The 1 st draft of the 2019 ASA Fixtures List provide an opportunity to members to make proposals to the 2019 athletics season, and feedback from members will be appreciated from ASA Members. The May 2018 version of the 2019 ASA Fixtures List will accommodate recommendations from members as well as more information regarding ASA s commercialization Programmes e.g. the Athletix Grand Prix Series dates and other similar events planned for Athletics greetings Richard Stander ASA ACEO Not signed due to electronic sending Page 1 of 5
