The bespoke sails are manufactured in the UK, and are available in a variety of colours to compliment architectural trends and enhance existing structures:- Our standard shade material is an unique commercial grade knitted fabric which has been specifically developed to produce a very strong and UV stable outdoor fabric for use in tension structures and shade sails. This state of the art material blocks up to 95% of the sun s UV rays yet remains totally unaffected by moisture and natural temperature extremes, and because the fabric is knitted, it will not tear or fray. They are resistant to mould and mildew and the stainless steel fixings will not rust. Where customers are looking for a waterproof shade sail then we recommend an acrylic lacquer coated PVC, named Ferrari 502. Such fabric offers outstanding dimensional stability, an exceptional level of mechanical strength over time, and in the event of an accidental tear, the high tenacity polyester yarn structure prevents the tear from increasing in size. Overall, our sails offer the ultimate combination of maximum sun protection and the strength and durability to ensure maintenance free, long life performance. We have 10 million of Public & Employer Liability Insurances, 5million of Professional Indemnity Insurance, are CRB checked and are an approved County Council supplier.
