1 Slings TUFF-EDGE F E III Slings 5% Higher Retained Strength 0% Better Edge Cut Resistance THE NEW STANDARD FOR HEAVY DUTY INDUSTRIAL SLINGS! Polyester Slings U. S. Patent No. 57 Our original webbing improved web sling edge durability with its superior edge yarns. Now II web is here to give you even greater sling life. Not only does II maintain the same great edge advantage as (0% cut & 7% abrasion resistance improvement over standard sling webbing), but it also has greatly improved surface abrasion resistance as a result of a special coating not found on other webs. Using the standard ASTM D770-0 test method for abrasion resistance of textile webbing, II webbing was compared to webbing. After being subjected to the same number of hex bar abrasion cycles, II retained an average break strength that was 5% higher than! Although you should always pad and protect synthetic slings from load edges, normal wear and tear should be greatly reduced when using II, giving you greater sling life and reduced sling costs. % Retained Strength Strength Retention Comparison Sample Breaks After Abrasion II Saves Money Polymer coated edge yarns resist cutting and abrasion to extend sling life Silver colored web treatment fights abrasion for additional sling life Tuff-Tag provides required OSHA information for the life of the sling, not just the life of the tag Saves Time Easy identification - silver body, blue edges, blue center stripe II Features, Advantages and Benefits Promotes Safety Red Core yarn warning system aids in the inspection process Tuff-Tag provides serial numbered identification for traceability See page Proven sling web construction 0
