2 T.S.P. ACCU-MIX PISTON PROPORTIONERS Part # P1200 Part # P14100 Part # P26270 Principle of operation: Water, under pressure, drives a reciprocating piston in the water motor cylinder. This piston, in turn, drives the chemical concentrate metering piston that draws concentrate from the drum and injects it into the water from the water cylinder. Accu-Mix is water flow responsive, concentrates will be diluted as intended irrespective of variations in plant water flow or pressure. The T.S.P. Accu-Mix is a precision metering instrument manufactured to the most exacting specifications. It is uncomplicated and has few moving parts. We feel simple is best. Because T.S.P. Accu-Mix is water operated, expensive and oftentimes complicated electrical connections are unnecessary. Personnel are not exposed to the shock hazards associated with electrical chemical injectors. The concentrate to water ratio is completely adjustable within the various model ranges. Accumix 2

Mount the proportioner on a bracket or shelf using the 4 PVC plastic spacers and the rubber feet provided. Unscrew the rubber feet and place the PVC spacer between the proportioner and the rubber feet. Replace the feet. If placing on drum mount the unit so the bottom of the bracket is 42 from the floor. This will allow a drum of product to be placed under the unit. 2. Not included / optional. Install a 25 micron water filter in the inlet line of the porportioner. Failure to filter the porportioner water supply will void warranty. If the Inlet water pressure can exceed 75 PSI, a regulator should be installed in the inlet line. Note: The proportioner has ¾ garden hose adapters for both the inlet and outlet. The unit can be connected to rigid pipe by removing the ¾ garden hose adapter from the plastic housing. 3. To the discharge side of the proportioner install the post homogenizer. Find Mixing Chamber. Install to the outlet of the proportioner, attach the female threads of the housing to the male threads of the proportioner and connect a pipe or line to a central reservoir or points of use. (Disregard In and Out designation on top of housing.) 4. Attach the suction tube to the chemical pump and place the bottom end of the tube into the product container. 5 START POINTS FOR CONCENTRATIONS SETTINGS ARE AS FOLLOWS: Determine the proper concentration of product that best suites your needs: After the initial priming procedure is complete adjust the concentration adjustment knob to the desired setting per the following table bellow. This is a staring point only and should be checked with an appropriate refractometer, obtainable through your Hangsterfer's Distributor. These Accu-Mixes work on a water pump principle and a pail should be filled to check the concentration. As the unit pumps forward it is at a higher concentration and the back pump at a lesser concentration. Both pump actuations equal one full cycle of concentration or percentage. Accumix 5

11 LIMITED EXPRESS WARRANTY 1. WARRANTY-T.S.P.. Hereinafter T.S.P., warrants to the original purchaser that T.S.P. equipment will be free in material and / or workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 6 months from date of sale (invoice date). T.S.P. liability shall, as its option, be limited to repair or replacement of the defective equipment. 2. CONDITIONS AND EXCEPTIONS A. T.S.P. shall be responsible only for parts and labor costs by T.S.P. and its personnel. Purchaser shall be responsible for all other repair and/or replacement costs included, but not limited to, freight and travel costs incurred by non-t.s.p. personnel. B. This warranty does not apply to any damage or loss to any equipment of component resulting from alteration or modification by unauthorized persons, fire, accident, acts of God, misuse or abuse, or failure to install or operate the equipment in strict compliance with the operating instructions, or any other cause whatsoever other than defects in workmanship and /or materials. 3. PURCHASER S OBLIGATIONS- All equipment is sold f.o.b. T.S.P. factory and all responsibility for, and risk of, loss or damage in transit is borne by the purchaser. Any claims, loss or damage resulting from shipment must be settled between purchaser and purchaser s freight carrier. 4. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY-T.S.P. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR SPECIAL, INDIRECT OF CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. T.S.P. shall not be liable for loss of any income or profits due to the malfunctioning of any equipment covered by this Warranty, whether the malfunctioning is caused by defects in workmanship and/or materials, or for any cause whatsoever. The remedies of purchaser set forth herein are exclusive, and the liability of T.S.P. with respect to any contract or sale or anything done in connection therewith, whether in contract, in tort under any warranty, otherwise shall not exceed the price of the equipment or parts on which such liability is based. 5. MERGER-THE WARRANTY DESCRIBED IN THE ABOVE PARAGRAPHS SHALL BE IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS, OR IMPLIED, INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OR MERCAHTIBILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. T.S.P. NEITHER ASSUMES, NOR AUTHORIZES ANY PERSON TO ASSUME FOR IT, ANY OTHER LIABILITY IN CONNECTION WITH THE SALE OR USE OF THE EQUIPMENT SOLD HEREUNDER, AND THERE ARE NO ORAL AGREEMENTS OF WARRANTIES COLLATERAL TO, OR AFFECTING THIS AGREEMENT.
