6 ommissioning of regulator The built-in over under shut-off device is closed when regulator leaves factory. During commissioning, it should be opened first. To open regulator, following steps should be 1 followed according to figure 1: Open inlet ball valve in upstream test ball valve in downstream slowly, when re is 16 gas flows into regulator, open item 16 (plastic); 20 Pull out item 20 (pole) slowly, a resistance will be felt during this process. Moreover, resistance will grow bigger while inlet is bigger. When pole is in complete out position, it means regulator is opened fully. The setting for regulator s parameter The outlet, relief over is already set before regulator leaves factory according to request of customer. And those parameters are in nameplate of regulator. A 10% little difference is allowed between actual setting parameters in nameplate. The actual 1 setting can be adjusted in a small range (10%). The setting procedure is as follows referring to figure The steps for setting of over shut 15 off: screw item 16, n use (small) to screw hexagon nut clockwise to press spring. In this way, setting for over shut off will increase. On contrary, setting for over shut off will decrease. The steps for setting of relief : use test ball valve to fill gas into regulator slowly. When reaches over shut off valve, shut off valve will close regulator. Then stop gas supply use (medium) to screw internal nut for adjusting relief valve. To screw spring clockwise is way to increase set of relief.
