2 History The Community Forum El Gouna 2030 was established in September 2012 as result of the Future Workshop El Gouna It is a joint initiative of Campus El Gouna of TU Berlin, Department Urban Development, and the Orascom Management of El Gouna.
3 Vision and Mission The Community Forum El Gouna 2030 is a platform for a continuous and systematic presentation and discussion of strategic topics of the urban development of El Gouna and its neighborhood in the Red Sea Region. In particular the Community Forum promotes and supports the development of El Gouna to a Green City. The Community Forum helps to activate the potential and opportunities of Campus El Gouna in the area of technology transfer.

11 5 TH COMMUNITY FORUM EL-GOUNA 2030 Business Park El Gouna Opportunities - Perspectives - Proposals To discover near El Gouna: Original Bedouin Life and Activities February 15 th 2014, 13:30 18:00 TU Berlin Campus El Gouna This 5th Community Forum follows the Forum in November 2013, when the potentials of non-touristic perspectives of El Gouna and the Red Sea Region were discussed. In the meantime the Urban Development students of TUB Campus El Gouna have worked out three feasibility studies for a Business Park El Gouna in the area west of the university campus. The results of this work will be presented and discussed with members of the El Gouna Community and various stakeholders from El Gouna, Hurghada and Cairo who might be interested in such a development. The Forum will close with the presentation of desert tourism in the neighborhood of El Gouna.
