1 WAILEA, HAWAII THINGS TO KNOW CLIMATE Year-round highs linger in the 80s, while the lows rarely dip below a pleasant 63 degrees. Gentle trade winds maintain a comfortable beachfront breeze. When you leave the beach, you'll likely encounter one of Maui's numerous microclimates. The island's leeward (downwind) side is generally less humid, while on the windward (upwind) side of the island, you'll find a wetter climate that's home to earthly ecosystems that are uniquely Hawaiian. GETTING THERE The Fairmont Kea Lani is located about 35 minutes from the Kahului International Airport (OGG), which has service from several major airlines and cities in the United States. We recommend renting a car or private transportation in a luxury SUV to get to the resort from the airport. Airport taxis are readily available as well. GETTING AROUND A rental car is recommended for getting out and exploring the island. This is best handled through our club partner, Avis, who has an on-site representative at the Fairmont s concierge desk from 6:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Your Destination Concierge will handle all arrangements for you. PARKING Complimentary self-parking is available on-site or you can choose to valet $25 per day. SPECIAL NOTE: Prices are subject to change. Please note that jet skiing, parasailing and many other motorized water activities are illegal from December 15 to May 15, as the noise of the high RPM motors disturbs the whales and interferes with their breeding process. SPECIAL NOTE: Please note that your Destination Concierge will be a member of the resort's team and may not be specifically dedicated as with most Inspirato Signature Residences.

2 THINGS TO KNOW CHECK IN/ARRIVAL PROCESS Upon arrival, head to the Fairmont s front desk, where you will check in and meet your Destination Concierge team (or a manager on duty, if you are arriving after hours). A bellman will then escort you to your residence and offer a quick tour of the resort. While the resort is generally not able to accommodate early check-in and late checkout, check availability with your Personal Vacation Advisor. GROCERIES For just the cost of groceries, your Destination Concierge will be happy to fulfill your grocery order. Simply complete the order form on your Inspirato.com account at least 72 hours prior to your arrival. Additional shopping trips are $25 plus the cost of groceries. IN-RESIDENCE DINING OPTIONS Room service is available 24 hours a day and your Destination Concierge can arrange for a private chef to come to your residence to cook a meal for you. Of course, with four restaurants, four bars and a bakery/deli all on-site, you don t have to go far for a spectacular meal. STAY FIT The Fairmont Kea Lani s fully equipped fitness center is available 24 hours a day to all guests age 16 and older. The sleek space includes an ample supply of TechnoGym strength training equipment and cardio machines, each outfitted with a flat-screen TV monitor. Additionally, the fitness center hosts daily classes, including yoga, body contouring, core fusion and more. HOUSEKEEPING Daily. TIPPING GUIDELINES While our Destination Concierge teams and housekeeping staff welcome and appreciate recognition for exceptional service, tipping is entirely up to you based on your level of satisfaction. If you would like to leave a gratuity, we suggest the following general guidelines: + Destination Concierge: $20-$50 per day depending on the level of service you experienced. + Destination Planner: $10-$20 per day depending on the complexity of your trip planning and itinerary. + Housekeeping: $5-$7 per occupied room per evening is typical for luxury hospitality. + Restaurants: The customary 15-20% of your total bill is appropriate. + Vendors: Gratuity is dependent on the complexity of the experience or service, so we suggest using your discretion. 3 THINGS TO DO SPA The Fairmont Kea Lani s Willow Stream Spa was voted Hawaii's Top Spa by Travel + Leisure and it can certainly back it up. The 9,000-square-foot sanctuary harks back to Hawaii s ancient days in both ambiance and service, yet boasts state-of-the-art spa equipment that will help you reach peak relaxation. Bolstered by organic products made locally, services include everything from massages that utilize gently moving tables to mineral-enriched body wraps to experience showers designed to mimic Maui s different styles of rain. Even better, the spa offers massages in three outdoor cabanas overlooking the ocean, pool or gardens. GOLF Wailea Golf Club (located just a few minutes from your resort) is a nationally renowned facility, which takes advantage of the area s ideal golfing conditions: great weather, stunning ocean views and varied terrain. The club has earned awards and best-of titles from Golf Digest, Golf Magazine, TripAdvisor and more. You can test your skills on the three acclaimed courses: + Wailea Gold 18-hole championship course designed by Robert Trent Jones, II; most challenging course in Wailea + Wailea Emerald good for golfers who like a bit of challenge but still want a slightly more leisurely round; includes rare double green between holes 10 and 17 + Wailea Blue classic course with easiest terrain, fantastic views and unique design SPECIAL NOTE: The Blue course is located at the club s new Pro Shop at a separate location; however, it is still just a few minutes away. BEACHES Right outside the Fairmont Kea Lani is Polo Beach, one of Maui s more secluded beaches. The water is great for swimming and splashing, and comfy shaded beach chairs line the sand. For more active beachgoers, the resort offers a full range of water sports equipment, allowing you to easily snorkel, kayak, sail, paddleboard and scuba dive. DESTINATION HIGHLIGHT Take a day to get away from it all on the Road to Hana. In your rental car (or on a guided tour), you ll drive along a winding highway that snakes through some of Hawaii s most lush rainforests. Bring a picnic and stop at one of the numerous outposts on the way to scope out the pristine flora and fauna. FAMILY The ocean may be the best place to see animals and wildlife, but it s not always easy for little ones to get in on the action. Instead, take them to the Maui Ocean Center, located about 25 minutes from the Fairmont Kea Lani. The educational facility lets all budding seafarers witness Hawaii s incredible array of aquatic wildlife up close and within a comfortable space. Exhibits include fish, octopi, turtles, sharks and more. MUST-DO Maui is full of fantastic restaurants and one of the best is located right at the Fairmont Kea Lani. A dinner at Kō treats more than just tastebuds to an incredible experience. The multi-award-winning restaurant and its distinguished chef, Tylun Pang, draw inspiration from Hawaii s sugarcane plantation heritage an international trade that brought a mixture of culinary arts to the islands. Today, within the elegantly designed space, you can dine on fine interpretations of these Hawaiian classics (or from the well-planned kids menu).

4 THINGS TO DO ROMANTIC A fabulous, intimate dinner for two is a timeless date night option but the Fairmont Kea Lani elevates the concept. The romantic twilight dinner served under a private cabana, gently lit with lanterns, next to the resort s adult pool incorporates dishes from Kō, while the serene Hoku Lani ( dining under the stars ) experience takes place on the Pacific Terrace, where tiki torches flicker around you as private servers deliver four courses of gourmet fare. ADVENTURE Zooming down a zip line is an adrenaline rush that s hard to beat. You will (safely) dangle from the line hundreds of feet above the ground and glide through palm treetops blowing in the wind. Throughout the journey, you can enjoy great views of Maui s tropical landscapes and the zip line s knowledgeable guides will point out interesting specimens of wildlife. NATURE Miles of hiking trails (ranging from easy to strenuous) crisscross the green hills of Maui, offering endless opportunities to immerse yourself in the pristine wilderness. Your concierge can provide a map for self-led exploration or arrange a guided tour through the scenery. Some of the most popular tours include a sunrise excursion to Haleakalā (the iconic dormant volcano), Iao Valley (a historical site) and Twin Falls (home to 40-foot waterfalls). LOCAL Gaze out into the ocean from most places in Wailea and the island of Lāna i will loom on the horizon. Bring that view a little bit closer by taking a day trip to the volcanic island, which is full of great beaches, hiking, golf, snorkeling, adventure activities (like off-roading) and more. The sparsely populated island makes for a great getaway and offers a chance to see some of Hawaii s most beautiful unspoiled scenery. ROMANTIC Capische (located five minutes away) On the menu, you ll find classic Italian, French and American dishes prepared with locally sourced ingredients (including some from the restaurant s own nearby farm). But it s the eatery s atmosphere that will have you swooning: Whether you dine on the beautiful, candlelit lanai or in the lush, colorful garden, you ll enjoy breathtaking views of the water and Maui s legendary sunsets.

LOCAL Da Kitchen (located 10 minutes away) Authentic, traditional Hawaiian dishes are abundant at this lowprofile casual joint.
