Enterprise is located at the Sheraton, and Hertz is located at Hyatt Regency Maui, as well on Honoapiilani Highway in Lahaina 2) Taxi: Service is available outside baggage claim area. -Cost: Approximately $20.00 one way. 3 -General Information- Weather There are generally two seasons in Maui. Winter (November through April), when temperatures typically range in the low-70s to mid-80s, and summer when the high can run into the low-90s. Time Hawaii follows Hawaii Standard Time (GMT-10 hours), which is 5 hours behind Eastern Standard Time and 2 hours behind Pacific Standard Time. Hawaii does not observe Daylight Savings Time so add one extra hour to the time difference during this period (March through November). Currency Hawaii's currency is the US dollar. Traveler's checks aren't necessary since credit cards are widely accepted and ATM machines are plentiful. Language English is spoken throughout the islands, but Hawaiian is also an official language of the state of Hawaii.

The Hana Highway (HI-360) has 600 curves and 54 bridges. The road leads you through flourishing rainforests, flowing waterfalls, plunging pools and dramatic seascapes.
