1 AFFILIATED SASA NORTH DISTRICT Saturday 11 th October 2014 Forres Bluefins invite you to their annual Mini Meet, which will be held at Forres Swimming Pool on Saturday 11 th October SESSIONS Session One Warm up 0830 Start 0935 Session Two Warm up 1330 Start 1435 AGE GROUPS 8, 9, 10 and 11 years Age is at 11th October EVENTS ENTRY Please see attached sheet for order of events. For the mixed Relay events, there must be at least one girl and one boy in each team. Teams comprising of all the same gender will not be eligible to swim. Please note that for the Relays swimmers are not allowed to swim up an age group. All members of the relay team must have taken part in at least one individual event. All events will be HDW. Entries where possible should be on Hy-tek. CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES IS FRIDAY 19 th SEPTEMBER Late entries will not be accepted. Forres Bluefins Swimming club reserve the right to restrict the number of heats in any event/s and reserves the right to swim a slower heat for their swimmers per individual event per Relay team Has been applied for; therefore please complete the registration declaration. Medals will be presented for 1 st, 2 nd and 3 rd place. Age Group trophies will be awarded to swimmers who have accumulated most points in their respective age group and category, points will be awarded to the first 4 finishers in each event. In the event of a points tie, the Trophy winner will be decided on the lowest accumulated time over all 4 individual strokes. Withdrawals should be notified to the recorders desk at least 1 hour prior to the start of the appropriate session. If possible please report all known withdrawals to me by 8pm Friday the 10 th of October 2014, by . We would be grateful for a list of officials willing to help on the day. 2 Video Please note that anyone wishing to use photographic equipment, including video cameras must register it with the Staff at the Forres Swimming Pool reception. The School Gymnasium may be used as an overflow. It is required that all clubs have at least one adult supervising, whilst their swimmers are making use of the school facilities. Packed lunches may be eaten in the Gymnasium. Meals for coaches will be provided in the Classroom next to Fitness Suite. Shoes and Tee Shirts must be worn by swimmers when in pool foyer and school Gymnasium. A swim shop will be open next to the Gymnasium. All Swim Bags should be stored in the changing room Lockers where possible or alternatively in the Gymnasium hall. A draft Program will be ed when completed with a list of rejected swims. No food will be allowed poolside at anytime. Warm-ups must be supervised. There is limited parking at the pool so please can you use the car park at the rear of Forres Accademy. Page 2 of 5
