For Withdrawals after the Freeze deadline, these must be made to the Tournament Referee & ITF Office SINGLES ENTRIES Online entry will be available from 2 nd May 2017, through the IPIN account of each player. All players are required to enter by the due deadline 4 th Sept 2017 THERE WILL BE NO SIGN-IN ON SITE AND ALL PLAYERS WISHING TO PLAY MUST HAVE ENTERED BY THE ENTRY DEADLINE. All players must have a valid Seniors IPIN in order to compete. Entry Deadline: The above entry deadline will be strictly applied to all competitors without exception. It is the responsibility of the player to ensure that the (online) entry procedure has been successful. DOUBLES ENTRIES WILL CLOSE ON MONDAY 18 th May 2017, at 4:00 p.m. PLAYERS MAY ENTER WITHOUT A PARTNER UNTIL THE ENTRY DEADLINE. FOR PLAYERS WHO DID NOT MANAGE TO FIND A PARTNER BY 4 th Sept 2017, THERE WILL ALSO BE DOUBLES SIGN-IN ON SITE UP UNTIL 16:00 LOCAL TIME ON MONDAY 18 th Sept It is the player s responsibility to find a doubles partner. It is the players responsibility to ensure that both doubles partners are entered, that they are confirmed as a doubles team in the tournament, and that neither player is erroneously included in any other doubles team. It will not be possible to replace an injured partner after the draw has been done. Players will be able to see who has entered the tournament via their IPIN account. Players may enter up to three events (no more than one each of singles, doubles and mixed and consolation events). Please note that any player entering three events must be prepared to play three matches in a day. 4 ATP Stadium has thirteen courts at main venue, 7 of which are floodlit. ATP Stadium has a large room for registration of the players and information purposes, Welcome office and Player desk. Sport Shops, Club House Facilities for spectators and competitors, two changing rooms facilities for man and two for women, doctors room, Sports Medicine Trainer room, Meeting room, equipped office for the ITF Referee, the ITF Staff, the ITF Representatives, Tournament Director and other official rooms. Within Umag Academy there is a Player desk, Tennis Shops, Academy House Facilities for spectators and competitors, Sauna, Gym, two changing rooms facilities for man and two for women s, doctors room, Sports Medicine Trainer room, equipped office for the ITF Assistant Referee, the ITF Staff, the ITF Representatives and other necessary rooms. OFFICIAL BALLS: HEAD ATP: A minimum of four new balls will be provided for the first two sets. New balls will be provided for any third set. Maximum Draw Size: There will be a maximum draw size of 64 in the singles events MEN & WOMEN S CONSOLATION EVENTS: 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70 CONSOLATION SCORING FORMAT: The consolation will be played best of two tiebreak sets with a match tiebreak (10) instead of a third set. 5 MEN & WOMEN S SINGLES EVENTS MAIN DRAW: Will take place on- site on Sunday 17 th Sept 2017.at 3:00 p.m. For information regarding the draw and schedule during the ITF GMP CUP, Grade A please log on to the CSTA website ( or the ITF website ( THE ALPFABETICAL MATCH LIST FOR Monday 18 th Sept 2017: Will be published immediately after the Main Draw finishes on Sunday 17 th Sept 2017 at 5:00 p.m. and will be available at the welcome office and official hotels. The Alphabetical Match List also be made available at this time on the CTSA website ( #tab_alphabeticalscheduleofplay) and on the ITF tournament web site: ( All players will receive an notifying them of the Alphabetical schedule of play for Monday 18 th Sept 2017 as part of the e-newsletter sent by our Online Tournament Administration system. The Main Draw is scheduled fir Monday 18 th Sept All players must be available to play on this date if required. Please note that if more than 64 entries are received in any event, qualifying matches will be held immediately prior to the main draw. In this case, players on the Qualifying acceptance list will be contacted directly with more information. All players MUST be available for play between Monday 18 th Sept and Sunday 24 th Sept Every evening at 9:00 p.m., the Daily Order of Play and Alphabetical schedule of play will be published on the CSTA website ( and the ITF Seniors website ( ) The organizer will send as part of the Online Tournament System, a newsletter to all participants and inform them about all above-mentioned documents. It is a player s responsibility to check the times of his/her matches and be Available to play accordingly. PRACTICE COURTS: For the 2 days prior to the start of the event can be booked on arrival. The finals of all event will be played on Saturday, 23 rd Sept and on Sunday, 24 th Sept Tournament conditions are subject to change by the tournament committee. All age categories will be played on red clay courts. B-TOURNAMENT MEN S & WOMEN S SINGLES EVENTS TO BE HELD The organizer accepted advise and recommendations of players to improve the organization of the tournament in 2017 so with the permission of the ITF on tournament in September 2017 (ITF GMP CUP, Grade A, with the official main event and consolation competitions there will also be held and additional B- tournament. On this additional B tournament will participate all players who are made reservation at the official hotel Istraturist Umag.d., pursuant to published Accommodation List 2017 using tournament code following instructions written in Accommodation list This will satisfy the request of players which guarantee to play at least six matches regardless whether they were knocked out in second round of the main draw or in 5

6 the first round of consolation and this of course without additional payment Entry Fee. B-tournament will start at the middle of the tournament week. The players who have lost his first singles match of the consolations event and those who have lost their second match in the singles main draw may participate and enter for it. Also only these players are allowed to attend welcome party without extra cost. Every participant will play several singles matches during the tournament week. Event Categories: MEN S: 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 WOMEN S: 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75 Maximum Draw Size: There will be a maximum draw size of 32 in the doubles/mixed doubles events. SINGLES SCORING FORMAT: Two tie-break with a match tiebreak (10) instead of a third set. The finals of all event will be played on Saturday, 21 st May 2016 and on Sunday 22 nd May Tournament conditions are subject to change by the tournament committee All age categories will be played on red clay courts. STRINGING: Stringing will be available at all sites, cost 13 (labour only). Please note that payment will be accepted in Euros or Croatian Kuna - if paying in Croatian Kuna the exchange rate of 15 th Sept 2017 will be used to calculate the fee 2. HOSPITALITY PAYMENTS DETAILS: HOSPITALITY MONEY : The Hospitality-money amount is equal to , which is gross of taxes and contributions. The applicable taxes and contributions to be deducted upon each of the hospitality-money payment execution. 6

7 ITF GMP CUP Grade A Main Draw singles Winners and the runners-up will receive Brutto hospitality payments as follows: Players in one singles category main draw Players Total Winner Runner- Up 5 or less 6 or more 8 or more 12 or more 16 or more 24 or more 32 or more 48 or more 64 or more The calculation of the hospitality money depends on the number of drawn players and those who actually competed in each singles main draw. OTHER HOSPITALITY PAYMENTS DETAILS: ACCOMMODATION: Beside mentioned above the winners of the all Main Draw singles events will receive 1 week (7x HB), and also the runners-up, will receive 3 days (3x HB) free stay at Istraturist Umag d.d. during the ITF GMP CUP, Grade A TROPHY-CUPS will be presented to the players as follows: All main draw knock out singles events finalists & Semi-finalists, main draw round robin singles events finalists, the finalists of the consolation draws of the single events and main draw the finalists of the doubles / mixed doubles events. FUNCTIONS: Official Dinner (Wednesday 20thSept 2017 at 8 p.m at the Four Star Hotel Sol Garden Istra). Free of charge for players and accompanying persons staying in official accommodation. Cost 17 for any players and accompanying persons not staying in official accommodation. All guests have to prove hotel half board accommodation during sing-in process in order to achieve free pass for official dinner. Please note that payment will have to be made in Croatian Kuna to the hotel on the evening of the dinner. Players must confirm the names of the accompanying guests who will be attending the official dinner when they pick-up their accreditations at the ATP Stadium welcome desk. 4. TRANSPORTATION & CAR HIRE: AIR: Ronchi Legionary International Airport in Trieste, Italy is situated approximately 112km (69.44 miles) from the hotel complex in Umag. Please note that there will be a charge for players and accompanying persons as follows: Cost of a two-way ticket from Ronchi Legionari Airport in Trieste, Italy to one of the Official Umag hotels (and back to the airport) is 65 per person AIR. Airport Pula, Croatia is situated approximately 80km (49.70 miles) from the hotel complex in Umag. 7

8 Please note that there will be a charge for players and for accompanying persons as follows: Cost of a two-way ticket from Pula Airport, Croatia to one of the Official Umag hotels (and back to the airport) is 65 per person There will be no transport provided from Zagreb International Airport. Please note that payment will be accepted in Euros or Croatian Kuna - if paying in Croatian Kuna the exchange rate of 15 th Sept 2017 will be used to calculate the charge. Please note that players arriving at Ronchi Legionari International Airport in Trieste, Italy, will require a VISA for the following countries: Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, as the transport route transits via Slovenia. Players arriving at Koper Train Station in Slovenia will require a visa for the following countries: Slovenia and Croatia. Please also read the Visa requirements section of this fact sheet. VISA RECOMMENDATION, RULES & CONDITIONS: If you are flying into Trieste airport, you will require a visa for Italy, Slovenia and Croatia, as the transport route transits via those countries. If you are arriving by train to Koper train station, you will require a visa for Slovenia and Croatia. Please contact the Croatian, Italian and Slovenian embassies in your country to find out about visa requirements for entry into Croatia, Italy and Slovenia. Should you require an invitation letter to apply for visas, the Croatian Tennis Association will forward you an appropriate letter. To start the process, please forward your request for an invitation letter to the CTA to Ms Zeljka Antolic at hts@hts.hr (phone: , fax: ) as early as possible to avoid problems obtaining visas. Neither the ITF nor the CTA can take any responsibility for the failure of any player to obtain a visa. RULES & CONDITIONS PLAYERS: All players are required to report to the Match Control Centre desk 15 minutes before the scheduled time of their match. A player who is not ready to play 15 minutes after being called may be defaulted. OFFICIATING: Chair umpires will be provided for all Main Draw finals and semi-final matches singles and doubles. 8

9 QUALIFYING: If the number of entries exceeds the draw size of 64 in any draw, a qualifying event will be held immediately prior to the main draw. Accreditations will include a photograph, which will be taken onsite by the host organisers. 6. MEDICAL AND TRAVEL INSURANCE RECOMMENDATIONS: According to Section I, Rule 23 of the ITF Seniors Regulations, players are responsible for checking with their local health authority regarding medical recommendations for travel to the country hosting the ITF GMP CUP. Each player is responsible for ensuring that he/she (as well as any accompanying person) is fully and adequately covered by insurance for the purposes of attending and participating in the ITF GMP CUP. The ITF Ltd, the host association, the host sites and tournament organizer cannot accept any liability for any participant or visitor in this respect. 9
