The duo of Miranda Ramirez and Gabriela Knuston played their way to a No. 13 ranking in the Oracle/ ITA National Doubles rankings. They jumped 46 spots from their preseason position at No. 59. Only two Orange hold perfect records in singles action, Gabriela Knutson (4-0 at No. 1 singles) and Dina Hegab (5-0 at No. 4, 5, 6 singles). At No. 17, Knutson is the highest ranked tennis player in Syracuse program history. The Orange have made a marked turnaround from last season when Syracuse kicked off the year 1-4. 'Cuse is currently 4-1, already at half the wins that the Orange tallied just a season ago. Syracuse tennis has found vast success at home, having yet to lose a match inside the friendly confines of Drumlins Country Club. Like Syracuse, their only conference loss came at the hands of Virginia. - Boston College has only lost one doubles point thus far in the season, falling to Virginia in the season opener. Yale - The Bulldogs hold a 3-3 record this year and have yet to play a conference match. - Yale started the season on a threegame winning streak but rides three consecutive losses into Sunday's match at Drumlins.

In just his second season at the helm of the tennis program, Limam guided the Orange to its highest rank in program history on top of leading the program to its first appearance in the NCAA Tournament. Backed behind the leadership of Limam, the Orange climbed up to No. 24 in the ITA poll on March 1. Limam and the Orange won their first NCAA Tournament match in program history by defeating Georgia State, 4-3, in the first round in Syracuse also received its first BYE in the ACC Tournament and won its first ACC Tournament contest with a 4-3 comeback win over NC State. After going 8-13 in his first season, Limam and the Orange turned it around to finish 15-9 in his second year. In the 2016 campaign, the Orange also had both a singles player (Anna ShkuduN) and doubles pair (Gabriela Knutson and Valeria Salazar) invited to the NCAA Individual Championship for the first time since At the conclusion of the 2016 season, Shkudun earned All-ACC Second Team recognition. Knutson was named the ITA Northeast Region Rookie of the Year and Player to Watch. During Limam's first season, he led Amanda Rodgers to All-ACC accolades and defeated a pair of top-40 opponents. Limam also led the doubles tandem of Valeria Salazar and Komal Safdar to a No. 59 rank in the ITA Doubles rankings during his first year as well. An accomplished player, Limam played at Drury University from , posting an singles record, placing him second in victories in school history. He helped lead the Panthers to an NCAA Division II runner-up finish in 2002 and was a three-time All-Heartland Conference selection ( ). Drury finished in the top five in Division II all four years of his career. Limam also has experience playing on both professional and junior circuits. He was ranked in the top three in Morocco junior categories and was a member of the Moroccan Junior National Team from Limam graduated from Drury University in 2003 with a degree in business administration. He received his Master s Degree in 2006 in business administration from Central Oklahoma. Born and raised in Mohammedia, Morocco, Limam speaks English, French and Arabic. He and his wife, Kristen, live in Fayetteville with their two young children, Lina and Ryan. Younes Limam took over the Syracuse University tennis program in 2014 and quickly built success. In just three seasons, Limam has won 31 matches and has had three to earn All-ACC honors. In his third season, Limam guided freshman Miranda Ramirez to All-ACC Second Team honors after finishing the season with a 15-6 singles record and a 12-match winning streak in the middle of the season.
