The starting point for this crawl is not walkable from the Hotel. Consider taking MUNI get to the starting point and back to the Hotel. MUNI is San Francisco s public transportation system, consisting of subways ( MUNI Rail ), trolleys, cable cars, and buses. The MUNI Rail stop closest to the hotel is Powell & Market, and is only about 3 blocks away from the hotel. To get to the starting point of this crawl, take MUNI Rail outbound 4 stops and get off at Castro. You ll see the bar as soon as you exit the station. Riders need to buy a Clipper Card pass / ticket to ride MUNI, and these are available for purchase at any station. Uber / Lyft is also available. 1. The starting point for this pub crawl is about a mile / 20 minute walk from the Hotel. This would be a good opportunity to ride a Cable Car. There is a Cable Car turn around / stop at the corner of Powell and Market, about 2 blocks from the hotel. You can buy tickets there. Ride the car up the hill about 11 blocks and hop off at Washington Street. Then it s just two blocks down Washington to the first bar.
