2 Referee Skills - Exercise 1 Referee to develop speed of reaction and concentration 1 R, 11 players The players try to surprise the R touching him. The R must identify the player who touched him whistling and showing the direction of the free kick. The second time that the same player touches the R, He/her has to show him the yellow card and the third time the red card. The players leave and return to starting point quickly

7 Flag signals Exercise 1 AR to signal different situations (throw in, offside, foul, goal kick) AR to develop concentration and attention. 1 AR, 1 coach 1 AR runs along the touchline (5 to 10 metres) looking at the coach. The coach shows a colour and the AR signals according to the meaning: Green: throw in Orange: offside Red: foul Yellow: goal/corner kick The direction of the signals is the same as the direction of running AR
8 Running Technique Exercise 1 AR to develop running technique and skills with the flag AR to develop concentration and attention. 1 AR, 1 coach 1 AR runs along the touchline (5 to 10 metres) looking at the coach. The coach shows a colour and the AR changes the way of running according to the colour: Green: jogging forward Orange: running sideways Red: sprint forward After every colour, AR changes direction of running and hand with flag
9 Throw-in - Exercise 1 AR to decide the direction of a throw in AR to develop concentration and attention. 1 AR, 5 attackers and 5 defenders Attackers and defenders are in pairs in front of the touchline with a ball. One of them kicks the ball off the pitch The AR decides the direction The next pair kicks the ball right after the first one. Another player can be in between to make the exercise more difficult
10 Goal/Corner Kick - Exercise 1 AR to decide corner kick or goal kick AR to develop concentration and attention. 1 AR, 5 attackers and 5 defenders Attackers and defenders are in pairs in front of the goal line with a ball. One of them kicks the ball off the pitch The AR decides corner kick or goal kick The next pair kicks the ball right after the first one. Another player can be in between to make the exercise more difficult
11 OFFSIDE Exercise 1 AR to recognise if the attacker is in offside position when the ball is played. 3 attackers and 3 defenders 1 AR, 1 kicker, 1 assessor Attackers and defenders are moving near the offside line. The AR judges the position when kicker kicks the ball. After five times they change positions.
12 OFFSIDE - Exercise 2 AR to recognise if the attacker is in offside position when the ball is played Attackers in 2 lines and 1 defender 1 AR, 1 assessor 1 defender stands still and attackers run fast, one by one, towards the opponent s goal line The kicker (attacker) kicks the ball when the team mate passes the defender. The attacker takes the ball and becomes a kicker.
13 OFFSIDE - Exercise 3 AR to recognise if the attacker is in offside position when the ball is played 2 attackers and 2 defenders 1 AR, 1 kicker, 1 assessor 2 defenders stand still and 2 attackers run fast, almost at the same level, towards the opponent s goal line The kicker kicks the ball when the attackers pass the defender Every time, the attackers become defenders and vice versa.
14 OFFSIDE - Exercise 4 AR to recognise if the attacker is in offside position when the ball is played. 2 attackers and 2 defenders 1 AR, 1 kicker, 1 assessor 2 defenders run towards midfield and 2 attackers run fast, almost at the same level, towards the opponent s goal line The kicker kicks the ball when the attackers pass the defenders Every time, the attackers become defenders and vice versa.
15 OFFSIDE - Exercise 5 AR to recognise if the attacker is in offside position when the ball is played. 1 attacker and 1 defender 1 AR, 1 kicker, 1 assessor 1 defender runs towards midfield and 1 attacker runs towards the opponent s goal line. The kicker kicks the ball when both players (attacker & defender) crosses. Every time, the attackers become defenders and vice versa.
16 OFFSIDE - Exercise 6 AR to recognise if the attacker is offside when the ball is played. 2 attackers and 2 defenders 1 AR and 1 assessor 2 attackers play the 1-2 (wall pass). 2 defenders move slightly and try to tackle the attackers. Every time, the attackers become defenders and vice versa.
17 OFFSIDE - Exercise 67 AR to recognise if the attacker is offside when the referee whistles. 3 attackers and 3 defenders move slightly towards and backwards. AR must control the second last defender. 2 ARs can work at the same time.
18 OFFSIDE - Exercise 68 AR to recognise if the attacker is offside when the team mate kicks the ball 3 attackers and 3 defenders move slightly towards and backwards. AR must control the second last defender and analyses interference. 2 ARs can work at the same time.
19 Team work - Exercise 1 Referee or/and AR to recognise if there is a foul committed by the defender or attacker, inside or outside the penalty area 1 attacker and 1 defender running towards the penalty area 1 attacker and 1 defender running towards the penalty area committing fouls. AR must decide foul, penalty, simulation
20 Team work - Exercise 2 Referee or/and AR to recognise if there is a foul committed by the defender or attacker, inside the penalty area. 3 attackers and 3 defenders running inside the penalty area. 3 attackers and 3 defenders running inside the penalty area committing fouls. AR must decide foul committed by the defender, penalty or simulation.
21 TEAM WORK - Exercise 3 R & AR to develop the team work avoiding contradictory signals R & AR to decide the direction of a throw in R & AR to develop concentration and attention. 1 R & 1 AR, 5 attackers and 5 defenders Attackers and defenders are in pairs in front of the touchline with a ball. One of them kicks the ball off the pitch The AR decides the direction The next pair kicks the ball right after the first one. Another player can be in between to make the exercise more difficult
