GRTC PULSE ROUTE

GRTC PULSE DESCRIPTION GRTC Pulse is a modern, high quality, high capacity bus rapid transit system connecting riders to destinations in the City of Richmond and Henrico County. Frequency: 10 minutes on-peak, 15 minutes off-peak, 30 minutes late-night Off-board fare collection (Ticket Vending Machines & Mobile Pass) Modern bus rapid transit vehicles 14 station locations: 5 median, 9 curbside Route length: 7.6 miles Dedicated Bus-Only lanes: 3.2 miles Transit-signal priority Fare: $1.50 (same as local fare)

VCU & GRTC UNLIMITED TRANSIT ACCESS Because VCU is on board in this capacity, we can also explore enhancing other local service in the city of Richmond. We recognize how important it is to collaborate with riders and the city on improvements to the new network while remaining budgetconscious; this kind of partnership allows GRTC to evaluate service enhancements that were not possible without VCU s investment. Gary Armstrong, Chairman, GRTC Board of Directors
