2016-2017 Montana State 4-H Shooting Sports Postal Tournament Shooting Sports Leaders, Here is the information and the rules for the 2016-2017 Montana State 4-H Shooting Sports Rifle, Pistol and Archery postal tournament. It is important for every county that has a shooting sports program to be included in this program. 4-H membership is required to participate and to receive any awards. We need to have participating counties registered by December 31, 2016. Please explain to your leaders that is is not necessary to know the names of each shooter to register. You can pay for the shooting slots and reserve it as unknown name and then fill in the names when you know them prior to the contest, or at your first shoot. It is each counties responsibility to check their members ages as listed on the results sheet (typos have been known to happen) as changes will not be made after February 1, 2017. SENDING IN SCORES FOR ALL DISCIPLINES When sending in scores, please include the County on all correspondance. This will make looking up information much easier!!!! Also, please do not send in the targets!!!!! I only need the raw scores. It just makes a mess on my desk and if they get lost in the mail, none of us have any way of getting those back. If you feel it is necessary to send scores via e-mail and also in the regular mail, please indicate that they have also been sent via the other mail. I had some confusion with this in the past. Please register the name and age of each shooter. Send the list and registration money to the SPONSOR listed below. PLEASE REGISTER BY DECEMBER 31, 2016.
