Lime Time is a PTA sponsored end of the year celebration for all students at LKMS. There will be a DJ, 3 on 3 basketball, laser tag, newly added bumper balls, a foam pit, water games, water balloon wars, volleyball and arts/crafts and lots of food and fun! Don't miss the 8th grade vs. teacher line dance competition. Where: Lime Kiln MS Wednesday, May 25, 2015 outdoors. Rain date is June 1. We still need parents to help with chaperoning and donations. Please go to this link: http://goo.gl/forms/pwu2jkbx4k or Contact Nicole Brown, Chair at NicoleBattsBrown@gmail.com SGA SOCK/CLOTHING DRIVE. LKMS friends and families, The LKMS Student Government Association is putting on a clothing drive with a focus on socks. When donating clothes, socks are typically overlooked as an item to donate. Therefore, socks are a huge area of need! We are collecting clothes and socks through student homerooms for the next month or until March 11 th. We are relying on the generosity of LKMS families to make sure homeless and needy people have warm feet for the rest of this winter! Send your students in with socks (preferably new) and other clothes that are in decent condition! Thanks! BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION Dear LKMS Families and Staff,

Last year, our school earned nearly $500 in free money from the Box Tops for Education Program! While this is a tremendous success - made possible by all the clipping you did last year - we are still only half-way to our goal of $1000 total for the school year. All the money benefits the school directly - allowing them to purchase valuable items to benefit the entire LKMS community! Please continue clipping, and send in those valuable box tops in a plastic bag or sealed envelope. Please check that none of the Box Tops are expired (dated 2016 or later), and ask your child to place them in the collection box located across from the main entrance. They don't need to be perfectly cut out - just make sure that the expiration date at the bottom, and letter code in the left corner of each box top is visible. Our next submission date to the company is at the end of February, so please send in whatever you have as soon as you can. Thanks in advance for your support of the students and staff at LKMS! LKMS STEM DAY Attention all LKMS parents On Wednesday March 9 we are hosting LKMS STEM Day! We are hoping that some of you will be able to assist us in this effort. We are in need of volunteers to: organize and guide, host a snack area, video record presentations, as well as judge presentations. Please complete the following survey by February 19,2016 if you are interested in helping out. If this link doesn t take you to the survey when you click on it, try copying and pasting it into your address bar. http://goo.gl/forms/teyret8lns LKMS Memory Book 2015-2016 LKMS Memory Books are on sale now through March 25th online only, starting at $25.
