Players will be allowed from the same division. Rational: there needs to be easier player movement for player development. This was the recommendation made by a collection of technical directors from across the lower mainland. Next year for B cup there will be a random draw. League administrator to handle Website for the league is now live: www.bccysl.com Discussion around clubs moving towards Virtual Cards. Possible Implementation plan within 1 2 years Cards will not change this year and be part of the league fees for 2018/19 There was discussion regarding a phased in process for Metro. Competitions Committee Bruce Metro Select League is being wound down and replaced by the Metro division at BCCSL, BCCSL: Metro, Div 1, 2 & 3 The minutes from SFDA board meetings are to be posted. Posting of the competition committee minutes on the SFDA site once approved. Discussion about an all Presidents/members meeting format. Discussion of BCCSL with clarity of information. Finance Committee Shaheem Next Competitions Meeting Tuesday April 17 th at the WhiteSpot on Scott Road. E mail communication has gone out. Playdowns Playdowns went well. There was some back and forth with the boys due to weather but all games got played. South Fraser had 45% of all the teams in the B cup. BCCYSL based on 4 District. Medals handed out based on points per team. Receipts only missing CCB and Van United Board members asked to bring the medals to their home clubs.

League doesn t have to run it, just sanction it from U6 up Need representation from SFDA Anything from league A and B cup goes to BC Soccer Representation (need) Metro Program: The district will look after the scheduling of the referees; assessing once a month.
Ensure that the are able to officiate No assessment right now; Metro referees appointed by the district Require neutral referees and not club refs The goal is to move the referees around. Technically a referee should not see the same team more than 2 3 times a season. Information will be sent out to the clubs about next year. The scheduling will all completed on one platform. The plan is to try it the new format for this year, and model it for the rest of the year. One person to BCSSL to one meeting to absorb. Responsibilities will go back to the clubs. Competitions are club affiliated. They will end up doing more.
