Each exhibitor should use the following Showman s Creed as a basis for their participation at the Jackson County Fair. MY CREED AS A SHOWMAN As a showman, I believe in being honest and not taking unfair advantage of my fellow FFA members. I am proud to be a member of the FFA and subscribe to its Code of Ethics and will demonstrate good sportsmanship at all times. I will not use abusive or questionable techniques when showing my animals nor will I resort to fraudulent, illegal or deceptive practices when fitting them for show. I am proud of the Official FFA Jacket and will not allow or participate in activities that serve to discredit it or the chapter it represents. I am confident in my own abilities in the show ring and do not need nor will tolerate coaching from the sidelines. I will quickly follow the instructions of the officials and do my best to make the show better for everyone.
