Coach Developer Programme The implementation of the programme is being reviewed based on experiences and lessons learned from the pilot programme Sourced funding from Olympic Solidarity to bring out an expert from Coaching Association of Canada First session with National Coach Education Advisors (NCEAs), Lead Coaching Personnel from NFs, and Coach Developers was held in July 2017 10
Master s Degree Programme 23 Coaches/ NCEAs/ National Coach Developers went through RPL for the Master s Degree The programme has not progressed due to funding. KZN province has committed to supporting its coaches and coach developers who were admitted onto the programme 11
Professional Body for Sports Coaching SASCOC recognised by SAQA as a Professional Body for sport coaching Resolution of the General Assembly on 22 April 2017 was to keep the Professional Body within SASCOC Possible change of name South African Sports Coaching Institute of Excellence (SASCIE) Legislation 12
