We are so appreciative of the many Samford alumni and supporters who generously gave to our athletics programs during this past year. Our inaugural season in the Southern Conference exceeded most expectations as our teams won championships and performed at high levels. This simply would not have happened without the many gifts that allowed us to field such competitive teams for this extremely challenging NCAA Division I conference. We know that you also share our pride in our student-athletes wonderful performance in the classroom as reported nationally through their exemplary scores in the NCAA Academic Progress Rate [APR]. Thank you for your time and consideration in supporting our efforts to represent Samford. Bob Roller Director of Athletics

MISSION The Samford Athletic Foundation s Bulldog Club is a nonprofit organization. Its primary purpose is to provide and secure financial support for the more than 300 studentathletes who compete in the school s 17 men s and women s NCAA athletic programs. Student-athletes are students first, but contributions to the Bulldog Club also allow talented students the opportunity to compete at the highest level, not only in the classroom, but also on the field and the court. Tax-deductible gifts to the Samford Bulldog Club may be made by cash, check (payable to the Samford Bulldog Club) or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). Many companies will match an employee s charitable contribution, often doubling or even tripling the amount of the original gift. These matching contributions may be applied toward your annual membership level in the Samford Bulldog Club. Contact your employer s human resources department to find out more about its matching gift policy. BENEFITS Bulldog Club members enjoy tangible benefits based on their contribution levels, including preferred seating and parking, and invitations to special events. Members accumulate priority points based on contributions, which determine accessibility and location of seating, parking and postseason ticket distribution. Samford s 2009 graduates receive free membership for one year. 1 point for every $100 of cumulative contributions 5 points per consecutive year of giving 10 points for former athletes (awarded in your first year of giving, one time only)

Welcome to the Bulldog Club! Samford has enjoyed a successful inaugural season in the Southern Conference, as has our Bulldog Club! We hope to continue and build upon the success of this past year to continue providing assistance to our student-athletes and coaches. The Bulldog Club is a nonprofit organization that provides financial support for Samford s 17 men s and women s athletic teams. Each team has a division within the Bulldog Club that allows donors to designate financial contributions to a particular team. Our programs for football, men s and women s basketball, and baseball have amenities associated with their programs that include such items as ticket priority, parking and team apparel, just to name a few. New to the Bulldog Club this year is the addition of a $100 Varsity. The Bulldog Club Advisory Board has been instrumental in getting the Bulldog Club off its feet. This new level of support will allow for more flexibility and opportunity for those interested in joining the Bulldog Club. With your help, donations to the Bulldog Club will provide Samford student-athletes the best opportunity to compete on the field, on the courts and in the classroom. Thank you for all you do to make the student-athlete experience such a special time at Samford. Thank you for supporting our Bulldogs! Vaughan B.
