4. FIRST AID MEASURES For advice, contact Poisons Information Centre (phone Australia 13 11 26) or a doctor (For each route of exposure provide indication of medical attention and special treatment needed including description of most important symptoms, acute and delayed) Inhalation Skin Contact Eye Contact Ingestion Note to Physician - If fumes, aerosols or combustion products are inhaled remove from contaminated area. - Other measures are usually unnecessary. - Concentrate and dilution solution is readily removed with water. - Abraded or broken skin should be washed carefully and thoroughly. - Seek medical attention in event of irritation. If this product comes in contact with the eyes: - Wash out immediately with fresh running water. - Ensure complete irrigation of the eye by keeping eyelids apart and away from eye and moving the eyelids by occasionally lifting the upper and lower lids. - Seek medical attention without delay; if pain persists or recurs seek medical attention. - Removal of contact lenses after an eye injury should only be undertaken by skilled personnel. - If swallowed do NOT induce vomiting. - If vomiting occurs, lean patient forward or place on left side (head-down position, if possible) to maintain open airway and prevent aspiration. - Observe the patient carefully. - Never give liquid to a person showing signs of being sleepy or with reduced awareness i.e. becoming unconscious - Give water to rinse out mouth, then provide liquid slowly and as much as casualty can comfortably drink. - Seek medical advice. Treat symptomatically 5. FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES Hazards from combustion products Precautions for firefighters and special protective equipment Suitable / Unsuitable extinguishing material - Non combustible Not considered a significant fire risk, however, containers may burn. - Alert Fire Brigade and tell them location and nature of hazard. - Wear breathing apparatus plus protective gloves in the event of fire. - Prevent, by any means available, spillage from entering drains or water courses. - Use fire fighting procedures suitable for surroundin area. - DO NOT approach containers suspected to be hot. - Cool fire exposed containers with water spray from a protected location. - If safe to do so, remove containers from path of fire. - Equipment should be thoroughly decontaminated after use. -There is no restriction on the type of extinguisher which may be used. Use extinguishing media suitable for surrounding area. 6. ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Emergency procedures Methods and materials for containment and clean up Environmental precaution(s) 'For minor spills, slippery when spilt. - Clean up all spills immediately. - Avoid breathing vapours and contact with skin and eyes. - Control personal contact by using protective equipment. - Contain and absorb spill with sand, earth, inert material or vermiculite. For major spills, slippery when spilt. - Clear area of personnel and move upwind. - Alert Fire Brigade and tell them location and nature of hazard. - Control personal contact by using protective equipment. - Prevent spillage from entering drains, sewers or water courses. 7. HANDLING AND STORAGE Precautions for safe handling Procedure for handling: - None required when handling small quantities. OTHERWISE: - Limit all unncessary personal contact. - Wear protective clothing when risk of exposure occurs. - Use in a well-ventilated area. - When handling DO NOT eat, drink or smoke. This document becomes uncontrolled once printed. Page 3 of 7

Conditions for safe storage - Suitable Container: - Packaging as recommended by manufacturer - Check that containers are clearly labelled - Storage incompatibility: - Avoid contamination of water, foodstuffs, feed or seed. - None known - Store in original containers. - Keep containers securely sealed. - Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight. - Store away from incompatible materials and foodstuff containers. - Protect containers against physical damage and check regularly for leaks. - Observe manufacturer's storage and handling recommendations contained within the MSDS. 8. EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION National Exposure Standards Biological Limit Values Engineering Controls Personal Protective Equipment None required when handling small quantities. Provide adequate ventilation in warehouse or closed storage areas. OTHERWISE - Engineering controls are used to remove a hazard or place a barrier between the worker and the hazard. - Well-designed engineering controls can be highly effective in protecting workers and will typically be independent of worker interactions to provide this high level of protection. The basic types of engineering controls are: - Process controls which involve changing the way a job activity or process is done to reduce the risk. - Enclosure and/ or isolation of emission source which keeps a selected hazard "physically" away from the worker and ventilation that strategically "adds" and "removes" air in the work environment. For Eye - no special equipment for minor exposure i.e. when handling small quantities. OTHERWISE: Safety glasses with side shields For Hands/Feet - no special equipment needed when handling small quantities. OTHERWISE: Wear general protective gloves. e.g. light weight rubber gloves. OTHER - no special equipment needed when handling small quantities. OTHERWISE: Overalls, Barrier cream, Eyewash unit. This document becomes uncontrolled once printed. Page 4 of 7

The Emergency Response Guidebook is used by first responders (eg firefighters, police officers and ambulance personnel) when responding to a transportation emergency involving hazardous materials. Short Term Exposure Limit - A 15 minute TWA exposure which should not be exceeded at any time during a working day even if the eight-hour TWA average is within the TWA exposure standard. Exposures at the STEL should not be longer than 15 minutes and should not be repeated more than four times per day. There should be at least 60 minutes between successive exposures at the STEL. Therapeutic Goods Administration Threshold Limit Value - TLV is a proprietary name registered by the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) and refers to airborne concentrations of substances or levels of physical agents to which it is believed that nearly all workers may be repeatedly exposed day after day without adverse effect. Time Weighted Average - The average airborne concentration of a particular substance when calculated over a normal eight-hour working day, for a five-day working week. UN numbers are four-digit numbers that identify hazardous substances, and articles (such as explosives, flammable liquids, toxic substances, etc.) in the framework of international transport.
