Jacksonville. Please plan on meeting between 5-5:30 pm. Pat and Tom Herscha will be conducting a meeting for the Fall Festival following the dinner. Please let Marilyn Scott know if you plan on attending. Bill Chesnut s calls and Susan Snider s cues kept the evening fun and fast paced.

George & Suzanne Tower made the announcements including the 50-50 winner. Congratulations to our winner Bill Brown. Bill held up his winnings of $47 as George & Suzanne looked on. Gaye Feuer won the Free Pass prize. No Last Tip Wiiner Peggy s Myers name was drawn for the Last Tip, however she had left the building. The Last Tip prize is now up to $8.

Welcome back Frank Schwartz pictured with Karen Allen Frank had suffered a heart attack several weeks ago and now he is back dancing. It s wonderful to see how he has recovered. Jaguar Fans and Moose Promenaders Charlotte and Jim Maroldo had their picture taken recently with Jaguar quarterback and future Hall of Famer (we hope), Blake Bortles. Fall Festival Ad Form If you are interested in placing an ad for the Fall Festival, please see Pat Herscha. A full page ad is $30, half page is $20 and a quarterpage is $15. The deadline is September 30 th.

With Deepest Sympathy Charles Torak passed away last week. Please keep his family and friends in your prayers and thoughts. Joys and Concerns. Smitty Smith is recovering in room 306 at the Life Center on Kingsley Avenue in Orange Park. Smitty said that he is ready for some visitors. Chuck Griffin is recovering at Brooks Rehab Hospital, 3599 University Blvd South, Room 3312, Riverside Wing. Chuck s phone number is 345-7849 which is a direct line to his room. We hope to see Chuck and Stephanie very soon. Calendar May 6th Golden Years Gala, Club Continental, 8:30 am, a breakfast followed by an awards presentation to the volunteers of the year. George Tower has been nominated for Volunteer Man of the Year and Suzanne Tower has been nominated For Volunteer Woman of the Year. Tickets to the event are $50 and are available by calling (904) 993-3133. The Golden Years Gala benefits the Shephard s Center of Orange Park, which provides services to seniors in Clay County. May 22 nd -24 th Florida Square & Round Dance Convention with over 20 callers and 15 cuers. The Hollywood Scene for 2015 is the theme. The dance will be at the Lakeland Convention Center so please start making your plans and reservations now. May 22-24 th Duke City Singles & Doubles Spring Fling in Albuquerque, NM May 30 th Fifth Saturday Dance. Spaghetti dinner will be $6 per person. June 2 nd Seven Day Alaska Square & Round Dance Cruise on the Carnival Legend with Bill Chesnut, caller, and Susan Snider, cuer. August 9 th The start of a 2 Dance weeks with Jerry Story and Tony Oxendine, recommended by our caller, Bill Chesnut.

Moose Club Membership Special The Moose Lodge is having a special membership for new members, $50 for a woman s membership, and $ 60 for a man s membership. This special goes through April, 2016. Thank you. Thank you to all of the clubs that attended last Thursday night, Clay Allemanders, Creekside Promenaders, Fun & Frolic, Mandarin Marauders, Rollaways, Seabreeze Singles, Silver Fox, First Coast Rounds and the host club, the Moose Promenaders.
