FIA WRC Sporting Regulations Modification of FIA WRC Sporting Regulations Art. 20.1.5 20.1.5 On a road section that is a public road and at the start of a special stage, a competition car may only be driven on four freely rotating wheels and tyres. Any infringements will be reported to the Stewards who may impose a penalty up to disqualification. Modification of FIA WRC Sporting Regulations Art. 65.1.2 65.1.2 The competitor of any car which carries an on-board camera must have the prior agreement of the Promoter. Authorised cameras will be identified by an adhesive decal and must be mounted by the scrutineers. Camera devices not supplied by WRC Promoter: only stand-alone devices are allowed. No connection to data logging or ECU or homologated sensors I actuators is allowed. 2. Article 11.1 Scrutineering, including marking and sealing The schedule of scrutineering times is contained in Attachment 1. Pre-event and Final scrutineering will take place at Coffs Harbour Education Campus adjacent the Service Park and as shown in Attachment 1.
Article 12.1 Rally Show with Ceremonial Start Cars and drivers must report for a Rally Show and ceremonial start incorporating driver introductions in accordance with Rally Guide 2, Art.15.1 and as shown on the Map in Rally Guide 2, Appendix 1.6.1 2.6.1. The route to be followed to and from the Rally show is optional except that cars must arrive and depart along Jordan Esplanade as indicated in Red/Orange lines on the map. A suggested route from the Service Park is included in Clerk of Course Communication 1. Article 12.2 Finish Procedure & location of final Parc Ferme The finish procedure will be advised in a further Bulletin. Final Parc Ferme is as shown in diagram in Sunday Road Book, page 54, via the route in Road Book TC24B to TC24C. Article 12.4.1 Raleigh Special Stage (SS12 &16) Is replaced entirely by the following: SS12 & SS16 uses a RallyX circuit with a mix of tarmac and gravel as a loop. Cars will start at same intervals as normal stages except that a car may be held if the stage is blocked or deemed unsafe. Any crew failing to correctly follow the road book on SS12 and/or SS16 will incur a penalty of 3 minutes added to their stage time. Article 12.4.2 Destinations Super Special Stage (SS7,8,17 &18) Is replaced entirely by the following: SS7, SS8, SS17 & SS18 uses a mostly tarmac surface road in both directions. Cars will start at 2 minute intervals except if the preceding car has not cleared the stage. In such a case an ABORT sign will be displayed to the crew on the start line. A new start time will be allocated. If a car fails to complete a super special stage within 5 minutes, it may be recovered by the organisers and placed at the road section after the finish control of the stage and the crew will be allocated a stage time of 5 minutes. In such a case, the crew will be deemed to have completed the stage at its due time and be able to continue subject to all the normal rules, regulations and service restrictions of the rally. Any crew failing to correctly follow the road book or in a time taken in excess of 3 minutes on a super special stage will be allocated a stage time of 3 minutes. Warm up of Brakes/s prior to the SSS is banned. Any crew observed driving in a dangerous manner will be fined 1,000 by the Clerk of Course. Article 12.9 Car Wash All cars must travel through the Car Wash as shown in Road Books prior to TC 3A,6A,12A &16A. The only car wash on Sunday will be shortly after the Stop point on SS24. It is not compulsory to have the car washed. Appendix 1 Itinerary The current Itinerary is as published in both Rally Guide 2 and the Road Books, with the following changes to Depart times from the SSS Regroup on Friday and Saturday.
3. Refuel area after Service Park ASN crews not using FIA fuel continue past Box 3 a further 0.11km to enter refuel area and exit a further 0.12km later than Box 4. 4. Compulsory Driver s Safety Briefing The following drivers and co-drivers are required to attend the compulsory briefing on Wednesday 14 th November 19:30hrs at Rally HQ. in the Jordan Pavilion of the Coffs Harbour Showgrounds, 123 Pacific Hwy, Coffs Harbour. (shown on Map provided in Clerk of Course Communication 1). Car 21 (co-driver only), cars 32,71,72,74,76,78,79 & 80 (driver and co-driver). 5. Course Marking Devices As an additional safety measure, a large directional arrow will be placed on the approach to nominated spectator points. Dimensions are 600x300mm with a Black Arrow on a Yellow background. These will be in place during reconnaissance. Corner cutting bollards, Pink in colour, will be used during the event. These will be in place during reconnaissance and will be filled with water for the rally. 6. Speed Limits Crews are advised that a Police temporary speed limit of 60kph will apply on part of the road section between Friday Road Book p34, Boxes 26-28 (Bucca Rd). This will be marked with traffic signs. At all times on road sections crews must respect posted speed limits whether temporary or for road works. 7.
