Also... the homework club is a place you can get some one on one help with your essential skills... after school. I'm BETHANY OH... And I'm SARAH NEVINS... Today is October 31st... And UNLEASHED begins... NOW. [A4 - INTRO_NEWS_GIVING TREE] Good morning Wildcats. The leadership team is hosting their 3rd annual Giving Tree craft fair. The craft fair is Friday, at the Parks and Recreation building, on 5th street, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. All proceeds from the event go to the Giving Tree that will be up in the amphitheater, after Thanksgiving break. So, start your Christmas shopping early and head over to the Craft Faire, on Friday, at the Parks and Recreation Building, on 5th street. [A5 - NEWS_YEARBOOK AWARD] Last year's yearbook was just named as a Crown Finalist by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association. This national yearbook award is given to less than 5 percent of all yearbooks in the country. In March, students will travel to New York City to accept the award. [A6 - NEWS_SENIOR TRIBUTE] And... seniors, it's time to turn in your senior tribute for the yearbook. Space is filling up fast, and the price goes up again tomorrow. The senior tribute is a special section for the graduating class. Order forms for are available on the WHS website or in Room C-2. To reserve your spot, you need to turn in the form, payment, photos and tribute message. [A7 - NEWS_CHESS CLUB] The chess club is meeting tomorrow, at lunch in room J-13. The club is for all students who have a strategic and competitive spirit, and want to enjoy a fun game, whiling hanging out with friends. No experience is necessary. This week, the club is preparing for a tournament at Origin and a potential tournament against Rocklin. Again, the chess club meets tomorrow, in room J-13. [A8 - NEWS_HOMEWORK]

And... if you are struggling in a class, or need some extra help, visit the homework club. NO NAT POP... Students can go to the library, after school to get help with assignments. The club meets after school, in the library, Tuesday through Friday, from 3:30 to 4:30. Teachers and student tutors are available to provide you with extra help. There are also several Chromebooks and study materials for use, as well as a quiet place to study. [A9 - NEWS_CRIMINAL JUSTICE] November 1st is the start date for for seniors to apply to college. The College Application filing window opens tomorrow. In honor of this event, the counseling team wants all students and staff to wear a college shirt, representing your favorite College or University. Again, the college application window opens tomorrow. [A10 - NEWS_FALL PLAY] And... the Culinary program is hosting their next Wildcat Cafe on Friday. Reporter Kailee Hamilton is in the kitchen with Culinary teacher, Carissa McCrory, to explain the jobs and roles students take on, to run their own restaurant... at lunch. Kailee...
