What an exciting day we have had at Bellerive! It started by celebrating with our Special Olympic Athletes. We wish them luck as they go to compete today. Our Bellerive Leaders created posters, visors and water bottles for them to take to the competition. Dr. Marty and Dr. Maxey paid a visit to Bellerive and got to walk around and see all the students hard at work. Tonight we will celebrate with our 4 th and 5 th grade students who play in the orchestra or are a Bellerive Singer. The concert begins at 7:00 pm. After the concert, Bellerive families are celebrating at Smoothie King. (Please bring a flier and earn free money for Bellerive.) Tomorrow our Bellerive Singers have been asked to sing at a District Oasis Celebration. What an honor for our students. We end the week on Friday, with Field Day. This is often students highlight of the year! Attached is a flier with all the details. Chess Club will end their year with a party on May 16. Anyone who participated in Chess this year is invited. Don t forget to mark your calendar for the Bellerive Family Picnic on May 17 th. The PTO is still looking for families to volunteer. Have an awesome day! Jami
