A listing fee of $9.50 must be submitted for any dog without an individual registration number or ERN. PLEASE NOTE NEW C.K.C. RULING NON-CKC MEMBERS WHO ARE CANADIAN, RUNNING A WHOLLY-OWNED DOG, CANNOT WIN A PLACEMENT UNLESS THEY PAY A NON-MEMBER FEE TO THE CKC. OTHERWISE, AWARDS & TITLES WILL BE CANCELLED. a) An annual non-member participation fee for awards and titles will be charged to a Canadian non-member of the CKC. The fee will match the ERN fee. b) In order to protect the awards/titles earned, the non-member will have a choice either to become a CKC member or to pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will cause all awards and titles to be cancelled. c) These fees apply only to dogs wholly owned by non-ckc members and are not applicable to CKC members. The Long Point Retriever Training Club is a member of the National Retriever Club of Canada and a member in good standing with the Canadian National Master Retriever Club.. Dogs entered in All-Age stakes may qualify for the National Stakes. As of July 1, 2010 only passes at Hunt Tests hosted by clubs in good standing of the CNMRC are considered in determining eligibility to enter the National Master Hunt Test Stakes. Notes: Judges shall have the power to disqualify any dog, which does not appear within 15 minutes of the time designated for its turn to be tested Dogs are required to run in order of the draw (males and females alike) unless excused by the marshal for that stake Females in season may not compete. Refund of entry fee is subject to veterinary Certificate CKC rules prohibit training on the grounds designated for the holding of a licensed Trial. Private property is used for the trial, and permission was obtained for Club use on this weekend only. PLEASE RESPECT THE PROPERTY! ABSOLUTELY NO LITTERING! Shotguns may not necessarily be used. For the Hunt Test ONLY; All handlers MUST wear dark or camouflage clothing and Handlers may be required to handle a gun Please check in with the Marshall upon arrival at your stake
Awards: Hunt Test - Standard CKC Rosettes will be awarded to all qualifying dogs at the completion of each stake. Field Trial - CKC rosettes and suitable prizes will be awarded to all dogs placing in each stake. CKC Rosettes will also be awarded to dogs that earn a Certificate of Merit. Excerpt from CKC Rules & Regulation for Hunt Tests: Chap.18: Sec.7: It shall be the duty and obligation of the event giving club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer, or any participant at a hunt test held under these regulations, is not subjected to indignities of any kind. The Hunt Test Committee Chair shall promptly report to the Canadian Kennel Club any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating this has occurred. Excerpt from CKC Retriever Field Trial Rules and Regulations Chapter 21, Sect 21.7: It shall be the duty and obligation of the trial giving club to see that a judge, club official, volunteer, or any participant at an event held under these rules is not subject to indignities of any kind.
