G1E 3W8 - lindasthilaire@videotron.ca Mr. Michel Bourdeau, CKC Spaniel Council, Quebec Representative 193 Houde, Quebec, Qc, G1M 3C3, (418) bourfield@gmail.com PUPPY STAKE: «A Puppy Stake at a Spaniel Field Trial shall be for dogs at least 6 months of age and under 2 years of age on the day of the trial at which the Puppy Stake is judged.» (CKC field trial rules & regulations, Chapter 10.2) LIMIT STAKE: «A Limit Stake at a Spaniel Field Trial shall be for dogs that have not placed in an Open All-Age Stake, or recieved 2 first placements in any Regular Official Stake (Puppy Stake excepted), at an approved trial in Canada or any equivalent Spaniel trial in any other country» (CKC field trial 1rules & regulations, Chapter 10.3) OPEN ALL-AGE STAKE: «An Open All-Age Stake at a Spaniel Field Trial shall be for all dogs at least 6 months off age, on the day of trial at which the stake is judge». (CKC Field trial rules & regulation, Chapter 10.4) AMATEUR ALL-AGE STAKE: «An Amateur All-Age Stake at a Spaniel Field Trial shall be for dogs at least 6 months off age, on the day of trial at which the stake is judge». (CKC Field trial rules & regulation, Chapter ) «Dogs running an Amateur Stake must be owned by an amateur and handled by an amateur». (CKC Field trial rules & regulation, Chapter ) POINTS Championship Points are awarded for placements in the Open All-Age Stake, provided there are eight (8) or more starters: 1 st place 5 points 2 nd place 3 points 3 rd place 2 points 4 th place 1 point * Dogs without a CKC individual registration number must apply for an ERN within thirty (30) days of their placement. G1H 1N4 ENTRIES, CLOSING and DRAW: The entries will close on May 23 th, 2018 at 8:00 P.M Entry forms must be completed in full and must be received accompanied with full payment at the Field Trial Secretary address prior to the Closing Date. The Club will be unable to accept, cancel or alter any entry after the closing date and time. The draw will follow immediately after closing at the Field Trial Secretary s residence. Payment can be made by cheque or money order payable to C.C.C.Q.- Leveur. Post-dated cheques will not be accepted. Entry fees will be refunded only for: a bitch in season, a dog that is injured, ill or dies and entry cancelled prior to closing date. LISTING FEE: A listing fee as established by the Canadian Kennel Club must accompany the entry of any dog for which a CKC individual registration number (ERN) is not shown on the entry form. The current listing fee is $ Cad. and/or Usd. per dog, per entry. EVENT REGISTRATION NUMBER: All dogs that are foreign born and foreign owned require an event registration number (ERN) to enable them to be awarded titles by the CKC. Dogs may be entered as listed ; however, an ERN must be obtained within 30 days of obtaining points, awards or scores to avoid cancellation. Application forms may be obtained from the Field Trial Secretary. NON-MEMBER PARTICIPATION FEE: a) An annual non-member participation fee for awards and titles will be charged to a Canadian non-member of CKC. The fee will match the ERN fee. b) In order to protect the awards/titles earned, the non-member will have a choice either to become a CKC member or to pay the non-member participation fee. Failure to comply within 30 days of notification will cause all awards and titles to be cancelled. INDIGNITIES: «It shall be the duty and obligation of a trial-giving club to see that a judge, club official, field trial marshal, volunteer or competitor at a field trial held under these regulations, is not subject to indignities of any kind. The Field Trial Committee Chair shall promptly report to the CKC any infringement of this regulation, and the Discipline Committee shall have the authority to take such action as it deems fit on receipt of a report indicating that this has occurred.» (CKC field trial rules & regulations, 21.7)

NOTICE The Club de Chiens de Chasse de Québec and Quebec s Provincial laws REQUIRE THAT ALL THOSE IN THE FIELD WEAR A BLAZE ORANGE VEST (CKC Sporting Spaniel Field Trial Rules & Regulations Chap. 17 Sec. 1). - This will be strictly enforced by the Field Marshall and the Blaze Orange Police (BOP)! No unauthorized ATV (sport motorize vehicles) are permitted to circulate on trial course/ground except CCCQ s ATV. Chukars (live full winged gamebirds) will be used for Open All-Age Stakes. Chukars or pigeons or both (live full winged gamebirds) will be used for Limit Stake. There will be no water tests. Official CKC ribbons will be awarded for placements in each Stake following the events on each day s. Keeper plaques and annual trophy will be handed to the winner of each Stake. As a member of CNSFTA, CCCQ placements will count towards entry in The Canadian National. Lunch service will be available each day at the field trial site for a nominal fee. The consumption of alcoholic beverages in the field and on the property is strictly prohibited. The Club de Chiens de Chasse de Québec is a member of the Canadian National Spaniel Field Trial Association. All dogs earning points in this trial are eligible to enter the Canadian National Open Championship for the next two years.
