Getting to Know Mrs. Taylor Mrs. Autumn Taylor is the fifth grade girls teacher at The Atonement Academy. This year she teaches the girls every subject except Latin, music, and PE. Mrs. Taylor is a cradle Catholic who attended a Catholic grade school and high school. After high school she attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock on a partial academic scholarship and a partial swimming scholarship. She has a BSE in elementary education, and all of her 30 plus years as an educator have been in Catholic Schools in San Antonio, Dallas, Tulsa, and Knoxville. Twenty-four of those years were spent educating fifth graders. (Ten and eleven year olds are her favorite age group!) Besides fifth grade, Mrs. Taylor also has taught second, third, fourth, and sixth grades. She and her husband, Chris, just celebrated 38 years of being married.
