Refreshments will be served; please wear your Halloween costume to be eligible for prizes! The Southern Regional Teen Leadership Conference (SRTLC) met on September 21-24! Our Wool Fest fundraiser of selling drinks provides support for 4-H programs for the entire year, so this is a very important event for us all. Participants in any of the activities listed in the above chart will receive an incentive card to be submitted with an application to one of the events listed in the below chart. 4-H members are responsible for keeping up with their incentive cards and submitting with their application and check for the remaining amount to a 4-H camp or conference. A lost card is a lost incentive. 5. Approved 4-H activities where dollars may be applied are: 4-H Activity Additional Information Camp Conferences Any 4-H led/supported camp Any 4-H led/supported conference 6. Only one (1) incentive card may be used at a time to cover the cost of an approved 4-H activity outlined in #5. 7. This document will govern the Pendleton County 4-H Incentive Program. To show livestock in 4-H and participate in the Pendleton County Livestock Show and Sale at the County Fair, the following requirements must be met: 6 hours of education must be completed before the respective validation/weigh-in site is held A record book must be completed and turned in for each species shown with exhibit entries at the county fair Youth must participate in the skill-a-thon contest Showmanship must be participated in for the respective livestock show Youth must be present to show their animal at the county fair Youth must be present to sell their animal at the show and sale held at the county fair Youth must be enrolled in Pendleton County 4-H Date Topic Location Time October 19 Meats Feast: bring meat from the species you are showing for everyone to sample. The Wool Fest is taking place on October 6-8 which provides Pendleton County 4-H with our biggest fundraiser for the year! Please contact the office to sign up to help sell drinks if you are not already on the list. Project Days will take place on Monday, October 9. Contact the office to RSVP if you would like to participate. The 4-H Banquet has been scheduled for Sunday, October 29, at 2PM at the high school. You should have received your invitation in the mail. Be sure to return the activity page as well as your RSVP numbers and come be recognized for your participation and achievements with 4-H from this past year!
