From Stroud take Parliament Street (Bisley Old Road) past the Police Station and Magistrates Court on the left. Follow the road to the top of the hill (approx. 1 1/2 miles). Keep going until you see a lane on the right sign posted Middle Lypiatt/Nether Lypiatt. Entrance to the field is approx. 30 yards on the right. Please make sure you leave the gate closed. NOTE: DO NOT ATTEMPT to drive or depart via the Thrupp (A419) end of Claypits Lane with either a lorry or trailer. It is extremely steep and narrow with no passing places. Your Sat-Nav will try to send you this way. You can be a member up until the age of 25. We usually run several shows per year, including Team Show Jumping, a One Day Event and a Combined Training competition. We also run regular trainings and rallies, an annual camp and hold social get-togethers where we raise money to subsidise our rallies and camp. Our members cover a broad range of age and abilities and are taught by excellent instructors in a friendly environment. At the end of the year our members are rewarded with certificates/trophies at our AGM.

I N R I N G 1 First round not to exceed stated height. Rosettes from 1st - 6th place. All show jumping classes will be run Table 7 (one round and then jump-off) except for Class 4 and 12. One timed round of varying height jumps. Each fence has a time penalty depending on size. A knockdown or refusal will incur said penalty. The Joker fence is the last fence and is optional. If cleared, 20 seconds will be deducted from your final time. However, if knocked down 20 seconds will be added. Fastest time wins! 6.00 per class (SPC Members 5.00)

I N R I N G 2 First round not to exceed stated height. Rosettes from 1st - 6th place. Except for Class 12, horse and rider combination are not eligible if they have been placed 1st at that height or higher at any jumping competition this year. Classes 7-9 will be judged separately. LEAD REIN OR ASSISTED LEAD REIN OR ASSISTED ASSISTED OR UNASSISTED APPROX 60CM Class 12-10.00 per pair (SPC Members 8.00) All other classes - 6.00 (SPC Members 5.00)

I N R I N G 3 Rosettes from 1st - 6th place. All classes to be ridden except for class 15. Some classes may be split at the Judge s discretion if entries permit. First placed competitors qualify for the Championship later on in the day. Including lead rein and in-hand (to be judged separately) Riders 11 years and under In-hand only Horses & Ponies 18 years old and over If sufficient entries class will be split. Jumps 60-85cm. First placed competitors from each class in today s show will qualify. You will be handed a qualification card when you receive your rosette which you will need to enter the Championship. The winner of the Champion sash and rosette, the runner-up will receive a rosette. 6.00 per class (SPC Members 5.00)

1. Age limit as shown. Ages as from January 1st 2018. 2. All horses and ponies must be 4 years or older, except in jumping competitions where horses and ponies must be 5 years or older. 3. The judges decision is final. 4. Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club or any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis. 5. The organising committee reserve the right to cancel or alter classes and refuse entry. 6. Hard hats to PAS 015 1998 or 2011, VGI with BSI Kitemark, Snell E2001, ASTM-F1163 2004a with the SEI mark, AS/NZS 3838 1998, 2003 or 2006 must be worn with chinstrap fastened at all times. We strongly recommend body protectors are worn for show jumping. 7. NO CANTERING near or around the arenas. 8. Dogs MUST be kept on a lead and mess removed (bags are available from the secretaries tent). 9. Any objections must be handed to the secretary in writing with a 10.00 deposit within half an hour of the class. In the event of the objection not being upheld the deposit will be forfeited. 10. The show jumping will be run under Pony Club Rules 2018. 11. All riders to pay a one off 2.00 medical fee. 12. For show jumping classes, heights given are the maximum heights in the first phase. 13. By entering this competition you are agreeing to be photographed while competing, these photographs may be used for future publicity. If you do not want to be photographed, please tell the photographer on entering the arena. 14. All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover.
