Golf for the Cure a hit at the Fort Langley Golf Course Written by Trysta Vandale, Marketing and Office Administrator The Fort Langley Ladies Annual Golf Tournament was held August 23rd at the Fort Langley Golf Course with proceeds supporting Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation research initiatives. The World Financial Group Continental Cup of Curling promotions team was there to contribute to the success of the popular fundraiser as sponsor of the challenging 8th hole. The difficult sand traps on the par three provided some extra waiting time on the tee - and the opportunity for players to test their skills in a putting contest. Any shot ending on the Continental Cup green was rewarded with an entry in the draw for a pair of single-draw tickets. And if the golfers landed on the secret spot they took home a World Financial Group Continental Cup prize, with the choice of golf tees, lip balm or Digi Mate screen cleaner. 3
