This event will be held under the 2010 General Competition Rules and all changes published in FASTRACK. B. Participant Accident Insurance is provided as in the SCCA Master Plan. C. The organizers reserve the right to postpone, abandon, or cancel the event or any part of the event. Entry fees will be refunded if event is cancelled and to those drivers unable to drive their school cars on the track. II. Entries A. An entry is not considered complete until the proper fee, as listed on the Official Entry Form, signed by the entrant is received. B. Entries received by Wednesday, December 1, 2010 will be acknowledged by email. C. Competitors, who do not have all required credentials in their possession thereby requiring a call to the National Office to confirm eligibility, must make arrangements with the Registrar by 10:00 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2010. D. Refunds will be given on cancellations received by 10 PM Wednesday, December 1, 2010. Refunds for no shows are guaranteed. Refunds will also be available to drivers who are verified as not having turned a wheel on the track ONLY if the Registrar is notified during Registration hours. All refunds will be subject to a $30 handling charge. E. Texas Region reserves the right to reject any entry, and to modify the Schedule of Events depending on the number of entries received as provided for in the GCR. III. Registration A. Each entry will receive one driver's pass and unlimited crew passes. No Charge for additional passes. B. All Crew and Guests must go through SCCA Registration at Driver s Lounge (Hot Rod Grill). C. Everyone must sign the TMS track waiver at the Gate 8 South Tunnel entrance. Proceed to the Hot Rod Grill Bldg for SCCA Registration. Everyone entering the track must register at the Hot Rod Grill Bldg. IV. Safety and Tech Inspection A. No smoking or engines running in Tech garage. B. Before presentation at Tech, all items on the tech card must be filled out down through official weight and wheel base and the event page in the vehicle logbook must be filled out. C. The car s crew is responsible for locating the logbook number on the page for the Scrutineer. D. Order of inspection in different lines: 1) Minimal inspection, logbook and helmet sticker; 2) Re inspection, logbook notation; 3) Annual inspection; 4) Cars not having logbooks (new car or lost). E. Any car involved in an accident or upset or metal to metal contact with another car may be required to be presented to Tech for re inspection before returning to the track, if directed by an official. F. All Drivers must fill out and attach the Medical Information Pouch to their helmet. Medical Info Pouches will be available at Registration and at Tech. VI. Paddock A. Garages will NOT be available for this event. B. The South Paddock will be the only paddock for this event. A fire lane must remain clear at all times for fire and emergency equipment as well as race traffic. C. Please keep your paddock area clean by using the trash bags provided in your entry envelope. More bags are available at Driver s Lounge. Do not throw oil in trash cans. Dump cans are located in south end of the Garages. D. Maximum speed in the paddock is 10 mph. E. No fluids will be drained onto pavement or ground. F. Driving stakes into the asphalt is prohibited. G. No motorized vehicle may be driven except by a licensed driver, imprudent operation will be penalized. All motorized vehicles will be operated on the pavement only. Skateboards, roller blades, scooters and roller skates are not allowed. J. NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING INSIDE THE TRACK An Overnight Camping Area will be provided outside the track in one of the bus lots south of the Gate 8 South Tunnel. A Camping area will be designated by TMS at Registration Friday night K. Race Cars are not allowed on Allison Drive except to cross over from paddock area to enter track at the direction of the Grid Marshall. VII. Hot Pits A. Access to the pit wall and hot pits of the TMS infield track will be controlled by the Chief Pit Marshal. Other A. The Race Chairman, Chief Steward and other race officials will normally be near the gate between paddock and the infield track pit lane or at Drivers Lounge. B. No testing of race cars on Allison Drive Permitted. C. Lost and found at Tech.
