Womens Club Latest News and Celebrations LATEST NEWS 2015 June Hunter s 90 th Birthday On 23 rd June 2015 the Beecroft Women s Bowling Club celebrated June Hunter s 90 th Birthday with a surprise luncheon, attended by former and current members. June is one of our longest serving members having joined the Club in 1978. In that time she has held various positions in the Club the most notable being a 3 year term as President and 22 years as Secretary, June is also a Life Member of The Beecroft Club. Though she no longer bowls because of poor eyesight, she still comes each week and is a source of great encouragement and information to all our Bowlers. Happy Birthday June. THE BEECROFT CLUB APPOINT CAROL TINDALE AS NEW LIFE MEMBER

At the AGM in October 2014 The Beecroft Bowling Club awarded Life Membership to Carol Tindale. Carol is one of our long serving members and in that time one of its hardest working members. As well as the many numerous Club Championships she has won she has broughtglory to the Club with the winning of District and State events. Carol has served a full 3 year term as President of the Women's Club and later when there was no nominee for the job she undertook the Presidency again. Carol has had 5 terms as Chairman of Match and has been on the Committee nnumerable times, she also has been the Publicity Officer. The money raised from the sale of her Pickles and our Christmas raffle of her Plum Pudding over the years has been much appreciated by the Club. Carol is always willing to provide prizes for any fund raising event and is currently the donor of the Ladies Major Singles Shield. Through the many years Carol has been at the Club she has always done her best to encourage and assist any new members. Her efforts for the Club behind the scenes are too numerous to mention and most Members would have been unaware of her efforts. The Beecroft Women's Bowling Club Congratulate Carol Tindale on being awarded a Life Membership to The Club. BEECROFT HOLD DISTRICT VETERANS DAY 9/10/2015 Veterans Day at Beecroft 9/10/15.
